Hold it at the Colloseum in Rome.
Hold it in the Yankee Stadium.
Hold it aboard a Cruise Liner.
Originality please =/
I really like that idea, though im wondering how the grinder would affect it.

Well it's a shame because it seems that everyone is missing out on it. I think a non-US location would mean more planning rather than more money (how much must it be costing them to send people to Hawaii?).
I think having the LCQ in the US gives more people a chance to attend it. I am an advocate of a non-US Worlds, even if it is significantly more expensive; overall the effect would be positive; more attention, more glamour, more international awareness of OP...
Its still the last chance to qualify, so... yes.. strictly speaking. Kinda defeats the purpose though.yoshi1001 said:Sorry, but if the LCQ isn't at worlds...is it really a grinder?
worlds will NEVER be outside of the United States. Hawaii was already a horrible decision.
If they were willing to spend that much money on 5 D/P inflatible decorations, doesn't that indicate that they have (or had) the surplus money to give more invites if they wanted to, but they instead want to limit the invites based on their principle of what Worlds is? If anything, moving Worlds to a cheaper location only frees up money for more inflatible decorationsi guarantee you that there will be more invites for next year than this year. why? because they are holding worlds in a location that won't cost them a fortune. speaking of a fortune, take a guess on how much the 5 d/p inflatible decorations at nationals cost? over $15,000.
As for Orlando, we live down this way. Like PokeMart said, 2004 was a fluke. Orlando doesn't get hurricanes.
