I'm done being reasonable. First the Premier Ratings page is outdated, then taken down. Then we are told the Worlds invite structure will be up soon. Then less than a week. It's MARCH. The week of State Championships. The Worlds invite structure has NEVER taken this long to be announced. WHAT IS GOING ON? Seriously? Why is everyone constantly left in the dark? Does anybody else even care?!
Look, I can understand I get no support from my fellow Californians regarding our annual State Championships disaster, but this is a Worlds invite we are talking about here. This involves everyone. Not just California, the United States, but everyone. And we have no idea where we stand. Last year it was U.S. Nationals that took forever to be announced and although it was a very successful event, that does not excuse the lack of preparation time we were allotted. This year, it's rankings taking months to be fixed and a lack of a Worlds invite structure. U.S. Nationals was announced fairly early and everyone is focusing in on complaining about the Indianapolis hotel situation when they don't even know what it takes to get into the REAL event, in Worlds. I honestly am just so confused on what people are thinking sometimes. THIS is the real problem. What good is knowing the k-values of all the events and the rankings if we don't even know what gets us INTO Worlds?
I'm thinking maybe we should let more people into Worlds for having to wait THIS long to know anything about what it takes to get an invite. I don't even know what else to say other than I am soooo disappointed in the lack of progress with this game in general the last few years.
