Why Team Galactic's Wager needs errata

That's why at Worlds and Nationals, POP/PUI provided dice that you had to use. How do they regulate cheating with RPS at Nationals/Worlds?

Coin flip or dice roll. RPS is plain stupid. Every tournament should have an announcement at the beginning that says "Team Galactic's Wager shall be played by the flip of a coin or roll of a dice." Either way, I like Copycat better!

What if two people play RPS, and one says, "Wait, we play Rock-Paper-Scissors-SHOOT!" And they argue.

You ask how you're playing before playing. The 4th motion is when you throw though in official RPS. Personally, I like to pwn people in RPS. Currently you can't actually refuse to play w/o Head Judge ignoring the card text and saying to do a coin flip ;/

Though, if my opponent simply refuses to play, I'll do highj roll/flip then kick their *** in-game due to them thinking I would cheat. :p

Oh yeah, I see re-do's working at Worlds.

*1 minute left*
"player 1: okay, I play Team Galatic's Wager."
*both players shuffle their hand into their deck -- 30 secs left*
*both players play RPS, player 1 wins*
"player 2: re-do"
*both players play RPS, player 2 wins*
"player 1: uhhh, re-do"
*both players play RPS....*
"TIME!"

This is why you get the Judge to come over...

and u guys really think u can change ur play (R/P/S) in a matter of 1/2 sec? Someone will be RPS champ if he can do that. It's not human's nature to be able to look at opponent's pick and then counter it so quickly.

Uggghhhh high roll "has different odds"? No..

Right let me explain this, the only difference is that you KNOW after one player has rolled what your chances are of winning/losing. Doesn't affect the chances of them GETTING that amount in the first place. Say they roll a 4, well to you it looks like you now only have a 1/3 chance of winning, or 1/2 chance of at least drawing. Right, that's true. But your opponent HAD only 1/2 a chance of getting a score over 3. Think about this before coming to ridiculous conclusions.

FWIW I still believe there may be a chance that coin flips aren't intended to be random in Japan, so having a different "skill game" may be the point of this card. Its never been officially stated that its meant to be 50/50. Ever. Anywhere, that's just a cultural assumption we like to make.

coin flip = 50 -50
Highest roll has different odds depending on who went first and what they roll

If I go first and
get a 1 then you have 5 out of 6 chances of beating me
If I get a 2 then you have 4 out of 6 chances to beat me
If I get a 3 then you have 3 out of 6 chances to beat me
If I get a 4 then you have 2 out of 6 chances to beat me
If I get a 5 then you have 1 out of 6 chances to beat me
If I get a 6 then you have 1 out of 6 chances to tie with me

Um no it doesn't because a tie just means a re-do anyway so it's irrelevant...as you approach infinity you see that it becomes 50-50, kthx
