Good points. I'll have you know that I spent pretty much zero time researching my hypothesis and merely went with the most obvious clue I saw. lol
I'd be much more confident in my guess if "Sylveon" was spelled "Silveon," though.
Given the first part of Sylveon's name, my guess is that it's a Metal type. With every other Eeveeloution, the part of the name preceding "eon" has always indicated the Pokemon's type.
As I recall, that Spiritomb usually only lasted until turn two or three against many of the more aggro decks back then (unless your opponent did not prepare their deck to properly counter Spiritomb, that is).
On a side note, Spiritomb/Stoutland would be an entertaining deck to use.
This kinda makes me doubt the validity of your competition. Or is Plasma just not out in your country yet?
Also since I'm tired and vaguely unable to form a cohesive paragraph this evening, here comes a list of possibly sarcastic 1-liners about the deck:
-I will say that your list looks...
Crash and burn used to be a good attack on electrode ex and metagross delta, but that was when Pokemon had less hp and did less damage. Seems underpowered now.
Hmm good starting point!
Probably emboar bcr instead. Still ohko on anything fire weak in klingklang, but only discards one energy instead of discarding all fire.
Of course, ill probably strip the deck of any tech for the start of my testing. Lol
Probably wont want to just slap it down as soon as you get it. Only if it will net you a key ko that turn. I get the feeling that in many situations the extra 50 either wouldn't be enough or would be overkill.
Playing it that way almost negates tool scrapper's usefulness.
Sweet!
Also worth noting is that crystal edge allows your undamaged kyruem to do 150, which i believe is enough to ohko any support stage 2 that isn't named klingklang. Also allows your undamaged kyruem to ohko a black kyruem ex that has a crystal wall attached (if people use that).
i agree, nothing wrong with some level-headed discussion. However, that only happens roughly half the time. The rest of the discussion is usually equivocal to my nephew throwing a fit because he was denied Yo Gabba Gabba privileges.
This has been a much better thread than most others I've...
Well I'm lucky enough to live right by one of the most common venues for most big oregon tournaments, so I don't pay much in gas at all. But that's pretty inconsequential to my point.
I actually have a few reasons why I am opposed to an entry fee for tournaments.
Part of my reasoning is that...
I buy cards every now and then, but I'm nowhere as competitive as I used to be. As such, I most likely wouldn't pay $10 to play in those tournaments. I'm sure many other casual players agree with me.
I don think you really have to worry about the prize trade aside from opposing bouffalant, and the regular reshiram kills that. Not much can ohko you; I think only rayquaza, rayquaza ex, keldeo ex and any kyruem ex can do it. WKex can ohko all of those dragons right back, and Mewtwo takes care...
