Fantine-Ryan Borgmann? I played him at the rockford cc, hes not that bad of a player.
 
Well I just got home from work and I'm gonna go take a shower (your welcome) and take a nap for a couple of hours (wouldn't be so bad if I had gotten more than 3 last night). See you all there. I'll be there at 10:00 AM. Good luck to all.

P.S. Dennis you can still make it. I'd like to see you there. Starts at 1:00 PM but be there by noon for registration if you can make it.

Oh ya, sorry about that Ashley! I guess what I meant to say is most of our people aren't really able to travel to other events much. But I think that will be changing soon.


I've been thinking about CL's CC all day, wondering how it went! Can't wait to read some posts about it! Sounds like it was gonna be GREAT!

They were still finishing up. Top 2 when I left.
Jason K made it to the top 2, we played our top 4 match to a 3-3 draw. (which I had a big screw up at the end, or i might have gotton one more prize.) Jason blew me away on the sudden death. (Great use of a fossil) I don't think St.Louis took anything?

My son Quinn took 10- ( :clap: Yeah his first City Championship)

I'd say the only real problems with the entire day were TMS-related (and we all know how fun THOSE are) and that the store closed at 7:00 pm. It's the same chain store that Jarod runs his tourneys through (Hobbytown USA), and his tourneys almost always run well into the night...

Anyhoo, it was a fun event and I look forward to many more being held there!!! BTW, any word on a CL prerelease?
 
I forgot to post a big Props, THANKS to big Dave C for hosting his first Premier Event. He got several locals there for their first tourney. Big thanks to Adam (Ice'Cold) for helping run the event. Big thanks to owner's of the local Hobbytown for agreeing to host, and taking down there great RC course in the back to fit us in.

EDIT (Still waiting for Dave to put it up.) Jason K and Pooka was in the final 2 for 15+. (Not Axe, Jimmy B, Richard L, or St.Louis Crew)

Yup, Jason vs Pooka in the finals, Jason playing Dark Ttar, Pooka playing Dark Dragonite. Pooka won both games (which were both very close). 4th-11th place were all 4-2s, including me, who took 9th on tiebreakers =(. Ohh well, I had fun :D!

Well I dont know but i was one of the 4-2, apparently there was a TMS involving me, i was placed in the 10 and under divison (totally and completely not my fault what so ever, that this happened, I didnt do that on purpose), wanna clear my name. I think I got 11 or 12 not sure, but there were alot of people out there....overall Dave 2 did pretty well for his first tourney it is expected for people to have situations go against first timers, but he did the best, so i was glad he was able to get through the whole tourney.​
