Heh it takes soemtie to make something liek this and i dotn think Nintendo thought we would find a hole in the programming to make a clone not in just the game but on the Server.

What happens is The Pokemon is copied over to the Nintendo Server and the Pokemon on the game is Deleted well you stop it right after the Pokemon is copied but not deleted.

Emerald cloning is so much easier. I just tried it (didn't know about it until I restarted my game), and it's so easy. Anyone know why it works?

Simple. The way it works is because when you do the trade, the pokemon data is being sent over to the other game. But, if you turn off the game it's coming from before it has a chance to save, then the data of the pokemon you traded is still on there on your previous save game in a back-up file. So, while you lose the pokemon you traded from the other game, you've still got the pokemon you sent over, doubled. So, just ditch a Ratatta for two Mews.

The D/P or the Emerald?

Alright, I'm going to keep it alive for a little while longer for some news that you lucky people who got an early Japanese copy of the game, know someone who did, or happened to be at the movie event for Darkrai will find most interesting. Darkrai, Shaymin, and possibly Arceus will not register on the server or show up in a search, even if they are there. That means that you can take your sweet time when you clone your Darkrai, Shaymin, or Arceus, as no one can take them, even while they are in the GTS. It's sweet. Takes off a lot of pressure. The reason why is because the way the game is set up it will not allow you to search for those three, but you can still offer them. I call it "The Cloning Glitch Event Clause." So. Fricking. Sweet. Wether or not it works on Manaphy is still a mystery, but if someone would like to try it we'll find out.
