Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

DP-on | Decks after rotation.

When gallade stops being played the format will be crazy there are so many cards now that are over-looked that will be so amazing with DP-on.

Magenzone X
Leafeon X Variants
Kingdra
Pixies
Empoleon
PLOX/GG
Eeveelution Variants
Vileplume
Blissey Variants
Spread(Froslass-Spirtbomb-Kyogre-Poleon-Zong)

I mean thatll just be for battle roads. The format will evolve more and more but those are the base. GG being the BDIF is really non existent.

Magmortar is going to die with Kingdra out there.

It really won't matter, because EVERYTHING will die to AMU.

AMU dies to Kingdra.

T1 Aqua Stream Buck's that's 70 right there!

Luxray can't keep up with kingdra.

Lanturn/Tentecruel/PURE CRAP is easily countered by Energy Switch.

Magmortar dosen't see play again.

Glaceon and Eevee lutions die because of Kingdra's speed.

Kingdra rules the format.

TOO FAST FOR METAGAME.

That spread deck is way to slow.

Magnezone dies due to speed.

Empoleon's DEAD. DRE and scramble worked with the card to make it GOOD.

Vileplume, again, can't keep up with kingdra.

Leafeon's too slow for kingdra *donks eevee*

Blissey can't live with the ever fast format.

Kingdra pwns everything.

So you expect you'll always go second, always have a candy in youd hand and always have a horsea start ?
Way2go

You donk my eevee, i bring up the next one (read eevee ), evolve to leafeon, get resistenance, and so on...

If you really get Horsea Kingdra Candy Water, then discard 2 cards, you've got 2 cards left, and will run out of steam turn2...

Kingra is overrated, you won't alwyays get a turn1 donk

If he cheats, then he will be second and has a candy-horsea-kingdra-3 water energy combo.

Kingdra is good and maybe overrated, but it can be beaten easily. You only need:

water resistance(leafeon is the best) or lightning pokemon. Auto win for leafeon cause you do 20 or 40 dmg(depends on the attack which your opponent use). Leafeon does 60 dmg. If you play Mothim MD, you can do 40 or 60 dmg but mothim is a waste of space.

No auto win for lightning pokemon, but i think they win against Kingdra because of weakness

In the beggining of this format infernape, mario, blissey, electivire were all played and they were thought to be the best of the format.
However when GG and magmortar began to be played those decks couldn't do much.

So i think that kingdra, AMU etc will only be playd in the first few months. Then when other sets will be released they won't be played anymore.

It Is Agreed, What happens if you have like most of your Rare Cards or stage 2 in your hand, You cannot Donk T1.

if your basing Kingdra success off of speed, then it would beat every single deck it played and just couldnt be stopped. But you dont know how it will play out since this season isnt even over yet.

Sometimes I swear you're the second coming of DarthPika when all he did was go on about Hurricane. There's a certain line you have to cross when people pretty much know and all you have left is the 'Logout' button.

Kingdra is fast, yup. But you need to understand how versatile the format is going to be next season. Without GG running around, the threat of Kingdra will probably spark an interest in Electric decks and cards that specifically counter Kingdra or whatever the new fad is.

Okay, calm down guys. Kingdra is good, but not end all be all good. Let's look at some facts.

So let's say you get T2, even T1 Kingdra. Good job. You have put down at least four cards from your hand, and if there were no mulligans, you have two left. I have two basics on my bench and Absol as my start. I evolve my Mareep to Flaafy, attach, Baleful Wind your last two cards, your turn. You draw one prize. and are are stuck with 40 and no snipe. I continue to make you lose any prospect of drawing cards with absol, even with my horrible start. You continue to hammer 40 on my, killing my Absol two turns later. I play Lake Boundary, come up with Ampharos, and completely obliterate you again and again and again. eventually you might be able to do 60 again, but you probably still take 3 turns to knock me out, at which point I would have already utterly destroyed your Kingdras and set up another attacker.

Even in Kingdra's best circumstances he is entirely beatable. Absol start laughs at Kingdra.

Now onto AMU. IF you play snowpoint temple, you might max at 110 HP, at maximum, but you probably won't. I don't even need Mewtwo Level X to knock you out, just Mewtwo. In fact, all I need to knock you out in Bannette, which keeps going and going and going.

Good cards? Yeah. Invincible? No. Japan's format is so wildly different from ours, as I've been reminded, that what will popular here probably has nothing to do with what will in Japan.

Togekiss/Regigigas for the win?

I at least admitted that Hurricane did lose to certain decks out there.

Kingdra is good, but its not BDIF.

What's so good about Amu? 200 damage for 3 energy or the Zen Blade then what else? It takes 3 turns if you're lucky to get them all out, and no leveling up on bench, retreating? you need a lot of switch or you might as well waste energy. And Luxray has another big shot of beating the AMU because of the poke-body. Darkrai/Blissey/Weavile will be famous for going against this deck. Well, I guess AMU will go good against Mewtwo.

2 Energys
Mespit - Free Retreat

I doubt AMU is that great myself, but pls, i've you have no idea, just don't post
And Mewtwo can be teched against

e:/ Even darthpika will not go to a tournament with AMU and giggle "hehe i've got amu so I win, no matter what" without thinking about potential counters (although he sounds like he would do that, I KNOW)
And Mewtwo as a counter is so obvious, if an amu player doesn't think about it, he should straight of quit the game

Yes, It Is coming out.Here:
Houndoom LV.45 – Fire – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Houndour

[R][R] Crimson Flames: 60 damage. Flip a coin, if tails discard 2 Fire Energy attached to Houndoom.

Hmm.... another good fire pkmn that would be good if Kingra wasn't also in the set. *sigh*
