Gengar Lv.X Question and News??

140 HP Mother Gengar is sick by itself, the Lv.X doesn't need more Powers and attacks to be broken.
The power is nice for new strategies and not broken, but the fact it's added to Gengar is a shame.
Attack is a bit hard, but Nidoqueen compensates that a little. If it wasn't on Gengar, it wouldn't be too strong.
 
The synergy with gengar and its X is very good. When you shuffle an opponents lv. X back into their deck they would have to have a supporter or trainer in hand[poltergiest] to get it back in some cases. I do realize that they could get it back next turn by drawing,topdecking etc.
 
Let's not get too excited and jinx it. First of all, it isn't confirmed to be true, yet. Second, whenever hype starts this early it's always a very, very bad thing. Remember RaichuX and Luxray LA?
 
^ I agree with that but am ancious to know as well. I hope it is great but bad at the same time due to I want to play it but not face it. LOL

Can someone explain where to look on this link? I hope that is true because it is almost broken with the power alone and then put with SF Gengar it is Broken.
 
Okay, stop saying all of that 140 hp +30 business, everyone. Seriously, nobody knows. What people made out to be +30 or 140 were all little splotches about a millimeter tall. Just WAIT.
 
How do you know? I am not saying you are wrong it is just I hope that is true.

For one thing in the set it is only +20 hp because the new Gengar is 120 not 110. Next thing is it is 100 percent that he is 140 hp not 130 or less. That is definately the hp to him.

If that's the real translation a 1-1 Mewtwo tech would be awesome since you could just shuffle Dialga G Lv. X back in
 
That is true but who knows for sure if that is true even though it is on a Japanese website. As I have said many times I hope it is real because that power is broken on it's own. (LOL)

Um, no. You can't tell ANYTHING from that tiny picture. Nothing is official.

And I don't buy that translation. Someone comes in, posts a "Translation off of a japanese website" that they don't give the source of or a link, doesn't post in the thread again, and you all believe it? And then you bash me for not believing this totally unofficial information? Maybe it's true, maybe not. But the fact that you are using some uncredited thing as evidence and would dare treat me stupidly like that is ridiculous.

Give me and ACTUAL LINK to a page where it has the HP, RC, Weakness, and Resistance, and then it is believable.

He actually did post twice and gave a link on this very page. Also in the picture just zoom in and you will see what appears to be a 140 in the top right corner which is what every one else did and saw. I am not nor did I try to make you feel stupid, I just told you what people have already discovered for sure which is 140 hp, free retreat, -20 resistance to colorless, +30 weakness to Dark and has a power and an attack that doesn't do damage. It seems as if you are the only one on this thread that isn't sure if it is 140 hp and no one said his translation is accurate because he only found it on some Japanese site and said himself all he did was stumble upon it. Here is a link that he gave with what he said up towards the top of this page....

The problem with a possible link is, that everytime I try to go the the original Japanese site, I get a time out error message.

All I can give you is the link via translation machine, this works for me (don´t know what the reason for that is).

Well... um... so, yeah. I do believe that that is the Gengar X. And considering how the previous translation had a power and an attack, and both the babelfish link and the page link are both down now, there may be something to that. Though it would be nice if someone collected and translated the rest of the TOHO auction pics as well.

{EDIT: And, of course, Pokebeach is working on this as I was typing. *sigh*}

Level-Up

Poke-Power: Level Down
You can use this Power once during your turn. Remove the LV.X card from 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon LV.X to Level Down the Pokemon. Your opponent shuffles the removed card into his or her deck. This Power can’t be used if this Pokemon is affected by a Special Condition.

[P][P][C] Damage Pain: Does 30 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokemon that has any damage counters on it.
