When you acknowledge that you deck can be inconsistent, then maybe it's time to rethink your strategy.

You're not supposed to auto lose to your own cards

wow ok you bring up the absolute most ridiculous points. if you start with a damn unown q you get donked. its called a bad start, every deck in the world has one (but im sure you can come up with something dumb you saw a 7 year old run at league). would you quit bringing up the .1 % of the time something could possibly go wrong

Power sprays = Consistent.

Your "Spirtomb" tech = Inconsistent.

Your two uxie idea is just horrible.

There is no way to back it up.

i dont run 2... i have 3. and how is this tech inconsistent? you havent backed that up. ok if i start with it alone im screwed. and you start with unown q and youre screwed. thats irrelevant. sprirtomb can potentially cripple sp decks. no energy gain slows them down a ton. not to mention they cant turn the damaged pokemon. once you try it youll see what an advantage it holds. SP decks are huge right now so id say youll be consistantly using it. and we both no how easy it is to go through your deck so unown q is not a problem.

and apparently you still dont get it... 4 uxie isnt the problem. it the lack of walls yall have put into the deck. also relying on an uxie chain over shuppet makes no sense. unless you get judged... you have no choice. situational again. or its super late game and you have no deck. in these cases i dont need an uxie "chain" i just need one to keep from decking

I see two situations here. You either:

A. Have Pokemon X active, flush your hand so you get a decent Set Up, promote Spiritomb to block the Spray, Set Up, and then can't retreat to attack, and let your opponent use trainers their whole turn earlier

or

B. Have Spiritomb active from the get go, leaving yourself stuck with a full hand, Setting Up for a meager amount.

Both seem to suck to me....

Also, Regice is a bad start you can work around, gogo Warp Point. But I will just assume you will Warp Point out of your Spiritomb right after you Great Ball for the Uxie, right?

How easy can it be if you are trainer lock?

You must forget that Diagla single handed shuts down everything.

I don't understand having two uxies. Where are you going to get enough draw power to counter power spray?

You must realize that Shuppet is a deck based on Draw power. Uxie is draw power.

Shuppet = Uxie.

Without it, I have no idea how you do anything.

dear wyoungb...

Thanks for your help, but it really wasn't help at all. If any old noob that had no idea how to run shuppet read your posted, he'd be in hell for tourney's. Thanks, but no thanks.

1). 2-3 uxie = LOL I NEED TO GO PEE I LAUGHED SO MUCH
2). 1 Spiritomb = Yes, I completely agree, however, the way you are describing it, I can tell you obviously have no idea how to play the darn deck.
3). Now that 3 people are saying you don't know what you're talking about, yes, it is a host of people now
4). You said that if you start with unown Q you're (please use correct apostrophes, makes you sounds like an idiot, oh, you already did that) screwed. Not, unown Q is not horrible, um, free retreat for shuppet / uxie?
5). 2 Mimes = stupid because if you're complaining about bench space so much, well, looky here, a second mime clogging it all up. oh, that's the problem...gosh (homer *DOH*)
6). Great ball = LOL, I JUST WENT AGAIN LAUGHING. "ok, i will get that uxie will great ball" lol....ahhhh. go for it. (from hand only bud)
7). Lastly, uxie restore is amazing, as previously stated by shucklelvx, all GOOD shuppet players have 10-15 cards left in their deck T1. and keep a lone uxie in hand for drawing into the restore. you obviously don't know anything about the deck if you think that uxie isn't relevant...

Thanks for your time :thumb:
