Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

List of City Championship Locations/Dates

Each State will have a State Championship Event this April.
That's going to be pretty much impossible..... Maybe Each State that held a City Championship but not just each state.

So, do you know if that is the last of them...i.e. is that all the approvals from the applicationcs received under extension to the 15th?

The 8 new ones are listed as "received after Jan 7th" so there may be more on the way. We`ll have to wait and see.

"The 8 new ones are listed as "received after Jan 7th" so there may be more on the way. We`ll have to wait and see." You mean I gotta add more dots to the map? :( ;)

TBT: I'm not surprised. NC has a very good Pokemon following.

You're right. like try and get one started in Wyoming, I just don't see that happening.

Actually, there is a league in Wyoming, so there could be tournaments there.

RRichards: I know. I was just pointing out I was fact-checking.

I question the legality of this league, the phone number doesn't work and I don't remember such a store called Anothny's card shop. Not to mention the league times are all messed up.

After doing some research (aerial photos circa 1994), it appears the location given is in a residential area. Very suspicious.

It's giving me "This number has been disconnected." Who would believe a League location that is in a residental area, has no phone number, and these league times:

Monday: All Day
Tuesday: 9:00AM, 9:30AM, 10:00AM, 10:30AM, 11:00AM, 11:30AM
Wednesday: 4:30PM
Friday: 4:30PM
Saturday: 6:30PM

If this place is still running, it is an insult to the entire Pokemon Organized Play system. =/

I guess someone should report them. Back on topic, however, I'm mailing out some flyers today to leagues in the area. Any other promotional ideas?

Advertising on the cheap -

The local paper ususally has a Go section or a Weekend section. These event and festivity listings are usually at zero cost. Drop a line to your local paper.

Flyers, flyers everywhere. Local grocerie stores, libraries, card shops, retailers (Wal-mart, what have you).

Radio/TV - PBS/NPR affiliate? Local AM station? They usually have a "Community Calendar" type piece. It's also usually free.

That's all I can ping off the top of my head for now.

Just a quick note, the original post has been edited for convenience and safety. Please read.:)

I emailed POP, hopefully they will check it out. Since I am the closest Professor, I also plan to visit Laramie to see if this league really is a league.

Anyways back to the topic...

I have made advertisements for my store and for the public, I am working to find every store possible that has anything to do with Pokemon-e TCG.

I also made smaller sized flyers so that players may take one.

I have also requested that my store update their website as well.

I have heard this, that for every state that holds a City Championship then it should also have a State Championship.

Hey, I live in Casper, mysterioustrainer. We have a shop here called Dave's Darts and Billiards here. Just to help you out.

No I am investigating a mostly likely fradulent league in Laramie. Which I got word back from Prof. Dave saying he is looking into it.

Yeah, heard about that--I thought you said the following: "I have made advertisements for my store and for the public, I am working to find every store possible that has anything to do with Pokemon-e TCG."

Yeap, there's one in Casper, like I said, but as far as I know, it's only active in M:TG and YGO. It might still be active in Pokemon, but I don't know.

And for the "legality of the league" thing, from what I've heard, the kid(guy?) probably lives in a house and his name is Anthony. He probably wanted to start up his own league, and just submitted it or something. I don't know, it's been a LONG time since I've played this game regularly...
