Vilegar uses rare candy also, so the nerf isn't entirely in their favor.

I haven't seen a single vilegar this entire season that uses any trainers at all. Personally, I think it's better that way.

League and Redshark.

I didn't realize these were authorities that announced major rule changes in the format.

We're just about to get a new set containing some cards with huge potential, so talking about it makes sense, but can we please avoid talking about formats that we don't know anything about yet, including rule changes that haven't been announced at all?

Kayle, be honest here. How big do you think the chance is of us NOT getting the rule changes? You know, kinda like how we got the whole rule changes when DP was released?

I guess it's very likely that we WILL get the rule changes.

The question is, will we get them while cards like Sableye, Uxie, and BTS are still in the format? They seem designed for JPN HGSS-on format, so maybe we shouldn't be panicking about Trainer spamming T1 donks yet.

I'm pretty sure that they allow you to play Trainers T1, that's all i remember.
Also on a different note, not really sure Weavile G helps that much in LostGar matchup, if only b/c to have a prayer of getting a OHKO you need 6 SPs or some Special darks attached, i'd prolly stick w/ DGX but i don't play either, i play AGX. So just thought i'd say that.

After some testing, I have this to say...
Assuming you have 5 sps in play, and none of them are bats, you hit them for 120.
BUT
Seeker is so essential in gengar prime.
As soon as they play seeker, you pick up your...
uxie/azelf/unown q(lol)/smeargle/chatot/gastlythatsomepeopleapparentlyruninluxchomp.
Drop another sp, and start 1hkoing them.
Truth be told, it doesn't always work, althuogh it usually does.

Nah, you Belt the Weavile. (Belt is pretty staple in SP now anyway).

Weavile + Belt + 3 SP = OHKO on Gengar. Special Dark/Crobat just means you can do it with only 2 SP benched. Plus Weavile is a nice Pokemon for consistant starts.

Thank you.

Besides that, my point was Rare Candy, which will certaintly be changed once the next set comes out...as I've seen it...and it says it on the card...

Loses to regigigas, yayyyyyy!!

Tested 3 games, gengar lost everyyyy time

So basically you are completely omitting an entire deck concept (I use the word concept because there are many ways to win with gengar and the lost world) because you and your buddies played 3 games with a brand new, un-tested, gengar deck and it lost to a regigigas deck that has been around for a fair bit of time? Lol please, that's like the people who said vilegar sucks because they played with crap lists. Now vilegar is top 3 most played and winning (prob not for long though).

Regigigas should have a hell of a time vs lostgar because if the X in the 3-1 line (usually it's 3-1 in my experience) gets lost zoned then regigias pretty well loses the game. If you want to get a faster hurl into darkness then run mewgar.

Also I laugh at the people who say mewgar would blow because mew has low hp. Imo mewgar means mew AND gengar...meaning you have both options as attackers. You can still use gengars, just using mews in between the turns of getting gengars up makes stuff faster. If you need a faster hurl into darkness then get one with a fast mew. If you wanna slow down the game to set up faster use spiritomb and palkia GX. Imo a 1-1 palkia gx should be standard in all lost decks.

The point being, there are sooo many ways to run lostgar, and by completely omitting it vs some single deck based on 3 single games vs a single person in a single area...with a single decklist...I don't think I need to explain that :S
