Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Mew is coming!

ONE person, ONE GBA SP for trades at TrUs, Escondido CA (N. San Diego County).

My son and I got there around 12:30; we got out of there at 4 pm o_O =/

It took an average of 5 minutes per trade; between us we had 5 cartridges and it took between 15-20 minutes to get those done...and we'd prepared our carts correctly, saved on the second floor, etc. I believe they cut off the end of the line before 2 pm; I'd guess they are STILL doing trades as of now considering how slow it was and how many people were in line behind us...=/

i beleive it works in america too

I just tried it, and it doesn't work. I might not be looking in the right place, but I can't find the guy anywhere. I went to exactly the place that the pic shows, and he's not there.

Chicago, IL

Morning was nice as heck, amazed I was. I decided to take public transportation instead of driving because I thought it would be more cheaper that way. I was right, because the traffic was killer, but then again, I think I would have gotten there and back a LOT faster if I had driven. Road construction was going on and it got pretty ugly. I should have riden my bike, then again, if I had..Well you'll see.

I get there around 12:20 PM, the line wasn't THAT big, but still was a one hour delay. I get to the counter and the guy is really nice, we trade, he gets my Tentacool, I get Mew. I save, I'm happy and ready to go home, I exit Toys R Us...

The sky is looking really mean, lightning and everything. I run to the bus stop before the huge downpour comes, but I still get a little wet.

Road construction + Rain = HUGE DELAY

I got 2 by telling my mom how to trade to get the other the guy said as long as she pushes the buttons you can get a second one

I can't believe two of my league members Shiny Mews. o_O I ended up getting two Mews. One Impish nature and another Bashful nature. I had to get back in line and wait an extra hour and a half to get my second Mew.
Alright, the Pokedex is Complete. Just in time for the Shinou Pokemon. -_-

I was lucky. I only had to wait 30 minutes and I got a timid Mew. I passed the time by playing demos from the DS download station.

We where in line for mabey 20 min. (got there at 2:00) I showed off my imense shiny collection and E.Ved pokemon to a bunch of kids who thought they could beat my level 50 E.V. ed team with level 65 pokemon. I pwned them. Then I got to the front get mew and walked my mom through the buttons and how to trade so I could get a second one.

Without cheats mt FIre Red now has every single pokemon yayyyy

They're not the same. I have a timid one and a quirky one. The stats are different too (not just attack and speed).

Now, I just wait for someone somewhere to post the exact Mew data so everyone can shark up exact duplicates.

My Mewmew day:

Got up at 10 am and showered, blah blah.

I had intended on picking up GDW and heading over to TRU at 11:30. Instead, I got to his house at 11:00 and proceeded to play through some of the Halo 2 co-op campaign with him. >_>

We didn't get there until 1:45 or so, and there was a HUGE line. CyberManectric ex and the rest of our local troop were going through the lines again in order to get thier second and third Mews by then. Once we got there, GDW decided that he didn't care about Mew. >_> So I lent him 20 bucks for his purchase of Chromehounds in order to bribe him into going through the line to get me Mew #2 (I win at life). We actually had fun in the line, as we kept cracking jokes about the crappy games we were standing next to ("You know what? Someone needs to make a Hello-Kitty-Roller-Rescue-Halo-2 hybrid game! we could call it 'Halo Kitty'!"). eventually, the little kids in front of us in line started joining in on the fun ("NO! Barbie's WAY cooler than Baby Einstien!"). Then, at 3:30, it was Mewmew time! After chatting with the Mew Trader people (ours were TRU employees), I eagerly checked my Mew's nature. Sassy! Dang it... Then, after GDW went through line, thus becoming $20 richer for a while, I checked out the Mew HE got. JOLLY! YES! My Physical Sweeper Mewmew fantasy is finally a reality! (no, really. I wanted an Adamant or Jolly Mew; Jolly mainly)

To be honest, I had more fun standing in line waiting to get Mew than I've had doing anything else in the past few weeks. It felt good to just relax and make fun of crappy games.

That's about all I can think of to say. Thanks for reading!

PS: Baby Einstien > Hello Kittl > Barbie > Babar > MATH ADVENTURER!!!!!!!

My son had a cross country meet in Rochester, so we found a TRU near the meet. My daughter and I arrived at 12:30 and found a long line, guessing an hour plus. We left to go back to my son's event and came back to TRU at 3:05. Still a line but much shorter. My daughter waited in the car with my wife, and I waited in line until about 3:50. I was next to last. They gave me two Mews (ha). I had all five game cartridges with me, but didn't want to appear greedy. FYI, the electronics dept manager told me that he was sent 700 downloads. This gives me 385 without gameshark, etc. Still need Deoxys.

At our Toys R Us there were 7 kids who werent able to get the mews due to not having the National Dex...So what did I do, I cloned mine 7 times and traded the Mews to those kids through various means so that they would not leave empty handed....I made those kids extremely happy and their parents as well. Whats better is that I was there to help them...I even made friends with 2 of the parents and will continue to help their children with anything Pokemon related...

Not offering to help someone when you can is just plain selfish...I know from persoanl experience that when a child really wants something an is not able to get it due to limitations that they didnt know of, it really crushes their spirits.

What do I get in return for doing these kind deeds? Only the satisfaction that I was able to help...And you know what, thst good enough for me, because Karma will be brought back upon me ten fold...

Side Note: I was able to trade others for 4 shineys (Slugma, Zangoose, NidoKing, & Solrock). For a total of 18 Shinys. YaY!
How do you clone on emerald I can't find out:confused:

This one kid hadn't beat the elite four so i had to trade over my lv. 100 rayquaza and beat it in like 10 minutes. The kid had traded my a shiny so it was the least i could do. Plus he was one of the most excited kids i had ever seen.

Cloning on Emerald instructions are on www.Seribii.net. Go to the forums for Emerald, it is stickied at the top. It really works, I just cloned a bunch for my league kids who didn't get theirs yesterday. There are demos on you tube also, actually showing how you do the glitch! Great stuff! Thanks to everyone who puts this useful stuff up on line!

Mew giveaway here was typical TRU event. One unenthusiastic employee who seemed not to want to be there was doing the downloads. We waited over an hour in line, and we were early. Time consuming way to distribute Mew, since TRU employee had to figure out what they were doing, and then explain to small kids who didn't know what they were doing. Mom in front of me ready to make a big problem because her 7 year old had not beaten the elite 4 so Mew wouldn't go on to his game. I convinced the TRU kid to put 2 Mews onto the brother's game for later trading to the 7 year old. They left happy. Another problem with a Dad a few people behind me. He was accusing a Mom of trying to let two kids cut in liine with them. I didn't see the cutting stuff and thought the Dad was a bit of a jerk. He calls a Manager over who basically told them to work it out themselves. Next thing the Mom is on her cell calling the cops telling them this guy was harrasing her! We got our Mews and left before cops arrived. It would have been much more efficient to distribute Mew thru the demo machines at Gamestop like the shiny Zigzagoons were given out a few years ago. But I'm happy to have my Mew now, she rocks!

If you must know, one of the TRU staff members was too stupid to check if a Mew was shiny before he traded it and it was given to one of my league members. As for the second one, Dragonmaster traded for it from someone who Gamesharked his game. That would explain why he got it at lv.100. :nonono:

Yeah, the lines were crazy. When I got to the TRU in Lincoln NE, their were about 15-20 people in front of me so I thought, ok 25 minutes then off to the zoo, NOT! I haven't waited that long since i've been to Lagoon. I waited about 2 hours (got a feebas in line though). One person there traded a Lv74 Camerupt and another person traded a Lv72 Mewtwo, a Lv10 Mew isn't worth that. Breeding feebas and got mew:thumb: :thumb:
