Went to FanExpo in Toronto today. Advertises itself as Comics/Gaming/Anime/Scifi/Horror. This year was way overloaded on horror, very light on gaming. Came away disappointed compared to last year. The Nintendo booth was about 1/4 the size of last year, with only a couple of Nintendo DS Lites on display. The wireless connection wasn't working, I couldn't download any demos into my DS. No pokemon downloads like last year. Was hoping for a Wii on display, but no.

I know from experiance that some video game magazines publish nothing but rumors. If it comes from a magazine that is owned by one of the three big game compinies you know it can be trusted.

In the video game industry that doesn't happen unless it's explicitly stated as a rumour, there's the whole matter of being sued.

EDIT: Nintendo doesn't come to Canada. To them, 31 million people is a niche market. And they wouldn't give out the old sea chart, that area of the game isn't in Ru/Sa. They'd just give you the mew.

I don't think the whole 1 per person matters...it was a good idea in JAA because there were so many damn people, but I doubt you'd get more than 20 people at ANY TRU.
