Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Nintendo Wii Or PS3?

I like the Wii, but the 360 is a great system as well. There are lots of good games for both. I got the Wii so I would have it in advance. The Launch is better than Gamecube's launch, but the Virtual Console is what got to me. When I get a 360, the Live Arcade is what will get to me. See, I am a retro Gamer, I usually play the old school, but the new stuff is cool too.

As for PS3, from the way it seems, this is going to be the last Sony System they'll ever make. There wont be a PS4, or even a PSP2. If you have a problem with that, too bad. I only have a PS2 so I can get game series that I like that isn't on the GC, and I don'e even own an Xbox/360. There's no way Sony will come back now.

I was eventually gonna buy a PS3 so I could play my PS2 games when I inevitably move out (since the PS2 belongs to my brother). HOWEVER, PS2 games look awful on the PS3. :( I'm losing more and more reason to purchase one.

I really hope you have another reason for wanting one. It's beginning to get unsettling reading so many accounts of "I want a PS3 to play PS2 games." It just... makes no sense...

I have a large collection of PS2 games. If the PS3 doesn't play them well, then that's certainly important to me since I don't actually own a PS2 myself. :\ Of course, having a PS3 would mean that I could take advantage of the online service, play PS3 games (assuming there will be any I want), and perhaps even Blu-Ray movies. My purchase of a PS3 wouldn't be in the near future anyway. However, because of these issues, I may just be better off purchasing a PS2 down the road rather than a PS3. And it's pretty telling when someone would rather purchase the previous gen system regardless of price.

Backwards compatability with the large PS(2) library was a huge selling point for Sony and they screwed it up.

Nintendo got theirs right, and I heard that MS got their Backwards compatibility right too.

Have to stand to play(I have not had too big a problem with this recently, but for games like zelda where I play for an extended period of time ,I imagine it would be a hindrance. Lmk what you think)

Says who?

The only time I stand (besides when playing with friends) is durning the sword fights in Red Steel (my beds at an angle, so I can't swing in every direction...). And I guess in a few sports in wii sports (boxing and baseball mostly).

I never stood up for Monkey Ball or Zelda. I stand for Wii Sports usually, but I don't have to. It's just more fun that way. :D Also, most Xbox 360 "exclusive" titles are available on PC. >__>

Ugh, I was on the wrong topic when I posted my opinon on the systems. Guess I'll have to redo it since I accidentally deleted it :p

Btw Chris- I find it more useful to play a game on the 360 than on the pc as it takes up precious memory and doesn't need a video card and the like .

My co-workers and I stand while playing Wii Sports...Helps the games feel more "realistic", and its easier to get in and out of the way of the TV for everyone to take turns playing bowling.
