Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Nintendo Wii Or PS3?

By the way, who was it that dissed the PS2? I missed it. :\ Though, I thought we were long overdue for some Sony fanboy death threats. And, of course, he's already been reported by me.

you dissed me prof chris, so you gonna die
Did you just now figure this out? I mean, like a page ago I called you stupid. o_o Did it just now dawn upon you that my view of your intelligence is quite low?

At any rate, we weren't talking about me dissing you; instead, I asked about who dissed the PS2. I don't think I said anything about the PS2 other than it was being outsold by the DS and it was not nearly as sexy as the Wii. In fact, the PS2 isn't a very pretty console at all. I wouldn't call that a diss though. Obviously Sony was not concerned with its appearance when they made it.

there weeeeee is ugly and stupid. PS2 is the mona lisa.

END OF DISCUTION

and why is everyone saying that i thretoned someone. i wrote spam wrong, on both, changed it and looked to see if my deck had any strategy help. you backstabers!

Lol :p

The DS pwns PSP
TEH WII EATS PS3's face off.
Numbers Do not lie. The second one will prove itself in time, but the first is already a fact.

lolganium, weren't you the one saying how much the PS2 and Black Wii looked alike? :\ Are we so quick to forget and put our foot in our mouth? Apparently so. :D

Oh, yes, you misspelled "dumb." Congrats.

Also, internet surfing is irrelevant. I mean, it's a GAME MACHINE first and foremost. The fact that it can surf the internet and play videos and music does not change the fact that the DS, which lacks those built in features, is the superior game machine with better games. :D And the games are really all that matters.

how ironic ._.
Excuse me? I speak Canadian english, which encompasses the letter u in words such as "colour", "armour", and yes, even "favourite".
I also ask you to look up the definition of "irony". You will find that this is not, in fact, ironic in any way.

for now, i am gonna say hold off on both. If you can, or dont already have one, get a 360. Both the PS3 and the Wii are gonna have post launch syndrome for about a year, and the 360 is past that imo.:thumb:

How do you figure? I mean, I can understand how you can say that for the PS3 but HAVE YOU SEEN the great post launch line up Nintendo has for next year!?
Wario Ware Smooth Moves
Mario Galaxy
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Batallion Wars II
Super Mario Strikers Charged
Mario Party 8
Metroid Prime 3
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Paper Mario
Wii Play
Animal Crossing Wii
Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
Fire Emblem
FF Crystal Chronicles
Dragon Quest Swords

Is this what you consider post-launch syndrome for a year?

EDIT: And most of these are announced 1st Party titles. I'd expect greatness from the 3rd party as well.

Wario War, Brawl, pokemon, and Mario Galaxy i am gonna get (i have a wii)
But we have all played Mario Party a million times, Battalion Wars is inferior to Advance Wars imo, Sonic died when Sonic Heroes came out, SUper Mario Strikers will be interesting, Not a fan of metroid prime, Super Paper Mario would be awesome if it was an RPG, Wii play isnt really a game...more like a tech demo, Not a fan of Animal Crossing Wii, HAMMER looks lame imo, FE is gonna be the same game we've played, and seriously, FFCC will not be out in 2007, FFCC for DS was announced 2 years ago and its still not out:thumb:

I've never played a Mario Party game. Ever. 8 may be my first. Sonic and the Secret Rings is going to be different from Sonic Adventure/Heroes/etc. and may be worth checking out. Paper Mario will be awesome regardless. FFCC for the DS now has a teaser website and will probably be getting a release date in Japan at Jump Festa. I'd suspect the console version to tag along not too far behind it seeing as it will probably take advantage of DS-to-Wii connectivity. At any rate, it's a great post-launch line-up despite the differences in personal taste. The Wii definately won't be suffering for good-great games in the coming year. Next holiday season will be great.

Wii Play is a great game I hear. :\ Saying it's not a game is like saying Wii Sports isn't a game. And Wii Sports is great fun. :/

EDIT: It's not fair to compare BW and AW as one is real-time strategy and the other is not. BWii, with the advanced Wii controls has all the makings of a great games. Especially if they make online versus and co-op happen. :D

That list alone is an awesome reason to get the Wii. Both the Paper Mario games so far have been off the hook, and I would expect the same for the next one. Animal Crossing is an interesting concept to bring to the Wii, and would be fun to see how they incorporate the controllers (fishing, bug catching, digging, chopping trees??). SMBB is something everyone has been waiting for, and Strikers Charged could be interesting as well, hopefully they will have more playable characters then the last. PBR will be amazing as well, and I will be happy to see the 3d Pokemon Games step away from the RPG idea. I haven't played a while, since 6, but it should be even more entertaining with the Wii-motes. Everything considered, the first party list seems pretty strong with just the few games mentioned so far.

Let's see Sony top that list...I forgot, Sony doesn't have too many games that only appear on their systems (aside from sports games).

I talked of being bias, so I'll address it. Last time I checked, each person who has an opinion is bias toward something. In this case/thread you are bias toward Sony, and most of the other people in here (including myself), are bias toward Nintendo and their video game systems.

im not actually a complete fan-boy. i was once like you, DS  , PSP :frown: . but i got both, i even got DS before it came out in england! i wasn't gonna get PSP, but did, as an alternative while out and about. but the only play the DS gets of me now, is if my nan wants to play the pinball game on mario 64 DS  . my ps2 dosn't get much play because the PSP can upgrade! so it keeps getting better! what you see isn't what you get with this machine. my game cube used to be played because i liked the controller best, i still do. its so untrully confortable. but i only play moh rising sun. which is out on ps2.

PS3 is still the best IMHO

DS has great online and the better games. I don't know where you've been. :\

Everything you say about the PSP being superior to the DS is moot at this point. Square-Enix dropped the megaton last night and announced Dragon Quest IX for the DS. Yes, the major console RPG franchise comes to the hand-held. Not a spin-off. This joins Square-Enix's stellar line-up of beautiful DS games. This is the final nail in the PSP's coffin. There is no hope for it. He who gets Dragon Quest wins Japan, then the world. Square Enix even realized the PSP sucks. They put their FFXII sequel on the DS instead of the PSP! Heck, they're not even devolping for the PSP. Why would they? It's practically a dead system. The only thing they've done for the PSP is release FFVIIAC on UMD.

You're one of the few PSP fans still in denial about this fact. Most now have resigned themselves to their fate. There is no hope.

whoah! NICE! i have been waiting for FFCC's sequel the day i got it. A good game, but very flawed, hopefully this will right its wrongs.

Mario Party can be fun, but Warioware/Rayman Raving Rabbids are like it, but much, much better imo. The game gets kinda old after 2-3 weeks. I Still dont think the Wii's lineup to a year from now is that great. The good news for Wii enthusiasts is that the good games that do come out, are reason enough to buy the console. I still see this as an exact replication of the DS' launch. The DS' launch absolutely, hands down one of the worst, ever. It had one killer app though (Mario 64), the Wii has Zelda. The next year was a deadzone for games. Terrible third party game, one after another. THe DS looked doomed. However, the one thing keeping it alive were its genious first party games. Once developers got the hang of it, well you get what we got today.

Give the Wii a year frm now, then itll be worth a buy. That is unless you must absolutely play Twilight Princess (which i absolutely love)
