Wooper in your last version, thats still only 6 draw cards, Patriarch is using 8 which still seems low, and in Patriarch's deck, I'd use POR and not Birch, with Catty, Birch is a no no, they're like opposites.

Mudkip, crazy as it may sound, I like the deck with only 7 draw cards: 4 Birch, 3 TV Reporter. This is what I've decided on using. And you know what's even crazier?
It works.
I've been setting up consistently turn 3 every time I simulate a match on my half. I Archie, Sparce SARs for two Feebas and a Squirtle, I Birch and attach to Walrein, I play TV Reporter third turn and get the Candy or Stoise ex my Birch could not get, along with a Milotic and a handful of wata energy.
The deck is performing almost flawlessly. I only have one doubt: are two multi energy needed? I won't be playing an Amphy EX/Sceptile EX deck anytime (I hope not XP) so I think maybe only one is needed. Then again, there's the chance that one will be in the prizes.
Here's the decklist: Let me tell you, it's working VERY well:
Pokemon: 20
4 Dunsparce
3 Squirtle
3 Blastoise EX
3 Team Aqua's Walrein
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
1 Castform Sun
1 Castform Rain
1 Meditite
Energy: 19
17 Water
2 Multi
Trainers: 21
4 Archie
4 Birch
4 Briney
4 Candy
3 Reporter
2 HPS
I put in the fourth Briney, found it was necessary in drawn out games where my luck isn't too good.
I need a guaranteed 3 in every deck, not the risk of only 2 with only 3 in the deck. That's why instead of 3-2-3 Birch POR Reporter, I've ensured a Birch first or second turn. For all you Birch haters:
This card gets me 4-5 cards every time I play in early-mid game. It's that simple. Everything in my deck is useable right away thanks to energy dance and a whole bunch of Rare Candy. Everything else, like TAWR, Archies, Dunsparces and that extra HPS, I discard with Reporter, and hopefully get some water energy to Energy Dance.
Birch vs. POR, I'm going for Birch. Like I said, Birch is working better, it's getting me just as many cards as POR, but without the shuffling, and I DO have Castform Rain.
Tell me if you can sniff out anything you'd fix in the newest version,
Wooper
