Hmm.. Perhaps I will take a break from BW and practise on dittos in my Platinum. I've been reading up on it on other sites, and have a shiny Tyred face powder I caught in Black, but no clue where to go next. Thanks!

So i'v never caught or even seen a shiny pokemon any of my games but my brother has caught two rediculous things!!

He caught a shiny charmander and a shiny gible with jolly nature!!!

I hatched a Shiny Axew, and it wasn't using the international breeding method. Just pure luck. Too bad it has Rivalry Ability.

Also, has anyone heard of this? If you have a Pokemon with Illuminate Ability as the lead Pokemon in Black & White it increases the odds of finding a wild Shiny Pokemon. Can anyone confirm that or is that just a rumor. I once read it on Bulbapedia but now that info has been edited out so I'm beginning to think it's a rumor.

Yesterday I caught shiny venipede.

I hatched a Shiny Munna in my second Egg when breeding for Synchronizers in Black. And then in Emerald back before I really knew what a shiny was I caught a Shiny Poocheyena, but I lost it because I restarted the game lol.

Ugh. I've so many shiny Pokemon that I can't even keep track of them.

First was in Blue, my main Porygon, Commodore, turned out to be a shiny Pokemon when transferred over to my Gen 2 Gold.

Most recent was shiny Litwick, Masuda method. Most of the Gen 5 shiny Pokemon don't look too good to me, but I suppose I'll go for shiny Axew (for shiny Haxorus).

I think it just increases the chances of finding a wild Pokémon in grass/caves/water etc.

Nope. That's only DW abilities and even then the chances of the ability passing are 50%.
