Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Texas State Championship...March 20, 2010

Sorry Mike

:thumb:Much as I would like to sit across from that big Ursaring and watch the blood go outta his face when he saw what I was a playin, I must humbly submit that Laredo will not be in the building this year, my wife suffered great loses this week with the loss of two grandparents and an Uncle, so after trips to Michigan, North Carolina and Kentucky, I don't think we'll be able to muster it, count it as a bullet dodged Mike and u would'a loved my tube socks cause I can't find those footies you wear with the little dingle ball's on the heal, they don't make em in Men's sizes, have fun ya'll

You show great strength in putting family before Pokemon.
My condolences for her loss. We all have lost loved ones at some point.

Speaking of girl scout cookies, any news on the parking situation.

After speaking with the "Convention Services Manager", she says that no one will escape the parking police. Bring some money with you, as parking will cost you $10. If you leave, you will pay another $10 when you return.

Also, she says no food will be brought into the hotel. If you go else where to eat, you will need to eat there. Or go to your room to eat.

That's good to know. Is it safe to say that since this is in downtown area there may be a few private parking lots that might be cheaper?

FYI - I've spoken to a few Houston area players that have not preregistered and don't come on the Gym. I've told them that if they choose not to preregister to make SURE they get there on time with deck list completed. Expect a great showing from the Houston area, as always.

Thanx kiddo, just DONK Mike for me will ya????

Dang it you old fart, you're suppose to be on my side, you want me donking people, not getting donked. You seemed to be confused after attending the donkey show down in Mexico. Or it simply your tube socks are too small and cutting off the blood flow to your brain? Yeah, in your case, the blood flows upwards, lol.

And our prayers are with your family.

I was told that there was parking lots within walking distance to the hotel. I was told also that you could park by the "parking meters" on the weekend without paying the meter. I would not reccomend the second option.

Thank you for giving your players a "heads up" about registration.

And all along I thought it was the silent ones, lol.

As for the 3-3, I'm looking to win at least 4 games with my deck. I don't think I can make top cut. Hopefully I can stun at least one good player. Players HATE losing to a PTO, especially when they think the PTO has a lousy deck, lol. I've got the capability to donk or I can make it a game. I know there's a million decks out there better than mine, but I like my deck and I have no desire to learn a new deck just for the one tournament I plan on playing in.

And all along I thought it was the silent ones, lol. nah stealth is cowardace, loud and proud senor, and if they don't make noise it's time to check the pucker sucker, you know those doctor's with 10 inch fingers that are as thick as a roll of quarters, unless there's a reason it's loosy goosey

Thanx for the condolence's big guy:thumb: but what could be better than planting in-laws (don't take offense little one's, One must find humor in any situation, tis better to laugh than it is to cry and I try to laugh my arse off whenever possible, and lord knows my shoulder is already soaked to the bone) my poor baby is taken it hard, but Mike please don't use a starter deck again, the laughter is deafening:lol::nonono: and I think this is Steven's to win as a first year master (it's San Antonio's year), you should draw him Mike and get the embaressment out of the way

You should know by now that these threads never stay on topic about TCG. The ONLY thing you need to worry your little Lubbuck tumbleweed brain about is that ALL of us are having FUN and getting along AND looking forward to visiting and battling with each other. THAT'S what this thread is all about. It would be VERY boring if all we talked about was Pokemon and what decks will be played. All of us pretty much know what decks will be in play at States and because of that, we choose to talk about other things.

Speaking of tumbleweeds and Team Dairy Queen, I'm still wanting the 411 on parking. Look, I'm too BEAUTIFUL to have to pay for parking.

well said this is a yearly pilgramage, consarn the mod's this is a dis and dislike thread for big mouths like us, anyone joining in make sure to wear your CUP:eek: and u can always park at the Dairy Queen Mike and walk off those Beltbuster's on your way to that first round loss DONK, DONK, DONK, DONK does anyone smell anything??? there's a bean and cheese (with a Budweiser) left cheek sneak for ya big guy:biggrin::confused: I can almost hear your nose hairs curling

Geez, I ALWAYS think I've read it all until you come around and post, lol.

As long as I can come on here on March 21 or 22 and claim I beat a Team Dairy Queen member, I'll be happy.

And I want to brag that I beat a quite a few people from houston. Mainly, a certain PTO and a certain little pikachu...

I'll bring my WHO's YO DADDY playmat I used at Nationals. If I win, my opponent has to write on my mat "You're my Daddy" and sign his / her name. If they beat me, they get to write "I'm Yo Daddy" and sign their name. My opponents loved it at Nationals.
