Ah, I see, I understand your decision then =)

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Since we got the pairings on Monday, due to er, me ^^;;;, would it be fair to say we've got until Sunday night/Monday morning to play them? For me and my opponent it would be easiest to play on a Sunday, but the result is due in on Saturday :/

Well, I am going away this weekend and coming back on sunday, so I think it's safe to say you can play on sunday, and if possible give me the result sometime late on sunday.

1 Kevin89 Netherlands (1/0) vs. Rainbowgym Netherlands (1/0)
WINNER: Kevin89, 2-0

First we play 4 or 5 rounds

Already decided whether we'll play 4 or 5 rounds?

It will be 4 rounds of swiss, then off to the finals.

hmm, so that'll mean all r1 losers have almost no chance of reaching top 4 anymore unless they somehow do have a sick resistance.. =( But oh well, so be it, it's mostly for testing anyway :)

*Go Kevin&Arco!*

I can promise you I haven't chosen to play less rounds than TOM sets up, on the contrary you have the option of dropping 1 round from swiss, but I haven't checked for that option.

Anyway, as you say. This is for pratice and fun mostly, so hang in there even if you loose.

Hmm, then TOM is doing something wrong, since afaik it should pair till there is only 1 possible winner left, and with 20 players, that would be 5 rounds, since 16 players should yield 4 rounds because after 4 rounds there is one overall winner left. There is a calculation for rounds, I don't remember it too well now, but simply said it's every square of two+1 round if there are leftovers (so with 10= 3 rounds (2^3) +1 since there are leftovers; with 20 5 rounds, 2^4+1). But maybe I misunderstood the concept of TOM or something.. I'm fairly sure this is the way how it works with Magic, so maybe I erroneously think it works for Pokemon that way too.
