The future of pokemon...

^ yeah- to see a 3-d area that is affected by the battle would be sweet to see implemented into the game.- always makes me wonder that in some of the tv episodes like at a gym- earthquake? come on, the building has gotta show the damage......and flame thrower? Should'nt the water sprinklers activate?- oh, no, then rainy day would go into effect...
I too agree with that Gamefreak would need to have a real pokefan in there to get a game where you can control the pokemons movements vs calling out the move and the pokemon just doing it...........
 
Well i'm going to school for game design. Hopefully I can work with game freaks and never know all of the cool ideas could be put in to some new poke games but just because I can make games don't mean they will higher me. I have a wicked idea for a pokemon games but unless I get to work with them they most likely not lissen they have a lot of work to do any way. But I can dream lol.
 
well, it's official, fifth gen. is coming out on DS (thank god i don't have to buy a new system!).
 
I hope with the new games, there is a wi-fi town in the game that is a "village" where you can have a home in it, and people can battle, trade, and is like a real time town- the towns population is the poeple who log in.

and I hope they make the normal towns more "active", like no one of the charectures are just walking back and forth, or standing there. Like the towns should be on a "ruetine" and that they are more interactive then saying pointless mumble-jummble.
It would also be cool if they implement a full- random weather pattern for the seasons. Like it would snow in winter- not every day- just during the season through-out.
as for sandstorm- I can see that being area seclusive, but sunny day and rain, snow- that would be nice.
 
That would be nice. With the wifi town we can get some type of points so we could customize the houses to poeple likes. The points could be given by trading battling and what every other thing we would be able to do in the wifi. That would be cool.
 
^ Game design? Awesome- maybe you could make a game that is like Pokemon and GTA mixed!
I could see pikachu having a shoot out with hundreds of officer jenny's!
Or maybe mix Pokemon with COD- Tayranitar behind the wheel of a tank against an army of suicide magicarps (explosion)-
oh wait- Pokemon has to be g rated- darn :(
 
I Say it would be DOPE! if the did away with the most UNPOPULAR parts of every game...like Please Scrap the game Corner! wireless random battles yes Perfect and a PC box big enough to Hold them all... im trying to catch them all so i need somewhere to put em...lol
 
^, Ya i agree with the box thing. I have just about every pokemon in there and lots of dittos and lots of my team and lots of things i breed. Definitely need more room.
 
I think it would be really cool to be able to type in responses to people who interview you, or people you talk to in the wi-fi community, instead of using the stupid pre-made responses in the game. Maybe put in a kind of e-mail in the wi-fi village so that the "mail" thing that's been in the games since ruby/sapphire on the PC actually has meaning, and players can communicate through the ACTUAL GAME via PC.

Now that 5th generation has been announced, I wonder if they plan on using all new pokes or just some new with a mixture of old.
More then likely they will have some old, as they say it balences out the generation they release. I think that they should balence out the types, verses balencing out the generation.
But I think it would be a nice change to have a new feature for the gyms. Something to the effect that one badge you would have to earn would be a wi-fi gym- like the last person in the gym via wi-fi earns the badge, that person would be the gym leader. And if you get the badge, then you become the gym leader. That way- the gym pokemon will always be different.
 
Did Ninetails have an evil twin during creation?
I am glad to see a new dark type. I hope the new pokes will round out poke types- some types are in need of new pokes.
 
I think Nintendo should personally stop copying Street Fighter: Lucario with Aura Sphere (Hadouken) and Sky Uppercut (Shoryuken) was really bad enough, they did a blatant Ryu ripoff: Now they have to go blatantly ripping Akuma? Nice one on originality Nintendo creating another offensive Pokemon.......

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to re-create Ken or Chun-Li around the same lines in the 6th Gen and beyond;

Yeah, I personally like Zorua over Zoroark. Zorua is like a combination of cuteness and coolness. Indeed, I just love him. Now then, if only he was called "Sneaky Fox Pokemon" not "Evil Fox Pokemon." Well, he doesn't look that evil.

Zoroark is also cool if you ask me, the Sugimori art especially. His role in the film, chasing after Celebi and being in a huge rage, sound pretty cool. Indeed, looking like a werewolf is fitting for his believed abilty to transform into almost anything.

I also can't wait to see the New Evolution Method that the CoroCoro scans mention, where it seems Zorua will evolve into Zoroark in an all new evolution method. I can't wait to witness this!

EDIT: OK, well, I thought this was the forum New 5th Gen Pokemon Zorua and Zoroark (that was the title of the thread), but it turns out not. Well, what I just mentioned above is from the future (Generation 5). Yeah, so it kind of partially counts. For one, in the future, a new evolution method does look pretty cool.

Yeah and as for others, I wish to see more new moves. It would be pretty awesome to see some more move counterparts (like Giga Impact is to Hyper Beam) and I would like to see lots of move tutors in the first two games immediately as well, rather than putting all the good move tutors in the third game as it was in the past. That way, playing Pokemon would look more attractive.

For the new type combinations, I think it would be pretty cool to see a Ghost/Steel type Pokemon, or maybe a water/fighting Pokemon. It would also be nice to see a new Pokemon that resembles a Koala. We are yet to have a Pokemon that is based off a Koala.

That is kind of an interesting idea but I think it needs more thought. It would have to be optional though, because some people dont have wireless internet around.

Also, QQ, I would like to see arbok have more than 438 BST :(. My new shiny, near flawless arbok (I sucessfully abused RNG for IVs for first time (woot) has considerably worse stats than my electivire who has much worse IVs)

I also want a MissingNo. card made, it is by far the best pokemon in any of the games and I would play 4 in every deck, please POP make a MissingNo
 
Honestly, I would like to see an alternative evolution for Cubone that is female only and is Ground/Ghost type. It would make the early Cubone 'myths' a reality. Haha.


I also really, really don't want more than a couple Legendaries in the new games. Generation IV had enough to last us several generations.
And please, no more super powerful/supernatural Pokemon like Arceus, the God Pokemon. (E.g., there better not be a Martyr Pokemon.)
 
Zoroark. The Zorro Pokemon.
Zorro is spanish for fox. I hope he goes around slashing Z's in the new movie and riding horses.
 
this is ridiculous. there are too many pokemon without evolutions FROM GEN 1 for them to be making more new pokemon. they need to focus on what they have now, and making that better, rather than just keep going and leaving old guys incomplete or underpowered. kangaskhan? lapras? dunsparce? absol? tropius? there are all of these awesome guys without evolutions that i would just love to see get even better with new forms. gen 5 should really be like 60% new evolutions of old pokemon, IMO.
