Absol's a great idea actually. (C) to locate an ex... I must have about 10 of those too. But it's clear that you people need some help so here's what you should play to counter LunaSol.

Ninjask DX... no attacks by Basics and grass? 2HKO of Nidoqueen, free retreat and a Poké-BODY. Play that w/ Space Center and you'll deal with any silly LunaSol decks.

The only loss I've had out of 18 games with Sami playing LunaRock was when I ACCIDENTLY left an Energy card in my deckbox. But yah. LunaRock FTW. =| BELIEVE THE HYPE... and believe that none of the information from our 70+ hours of playtesting is true...

that and Urasirig are actually good, but no Skarmory/Pinser/whatever
 
Why is there SO much focus on Lunasol?

Although, Sami senses ALOT of reverse psycology in this thread. Everyone 4 Lunasol at nats ;D

Anyway it just won the Netherlands Nationals. If its this bad, (0-18) can you explain to we lesser trainers why it won, because I can't see it.

I'll bring my MKDS, but I'm rubbish.

They didn't know how to win against it. Panic, lack of playtesting. Call it what you may.

Oh, and they didn't know what a Skarmory did let alone a Lunatone.

Not sure really. Skarmory seems like an awesome idea. Absol has a weakness to Lunatone for KOing, Pinsir's just ugly. Skarmory's attacks make it the best choice IMO.

If you use Skarmory and Steel Wing its impossible for a Lunatone to KO you even with a strength charm.


T0) Look at opponents Pokemon. Lunasol mulligans all the time and it'll be obvious when its being played.
T1) Swoop for Skarmory, attach Energy. Cry for help, get a Holons Magneton (or Jirachi for laters) and put it in your hand.
T2,3,4,5,6,7,8 etc etc) Steel Wing your way to victory ::biggrin:! Each person gets huge hands, you lay a basic or Swoop and evolve when the going gets tough. Or Giant Stump them if you play it.

Space Center in Lunasol? Heh Heh heh NO. That means no Luna Shade, Sol Shade, Moonglow, Sunbeam. If they Space Centre thereself, it sets them up for a slow suicide.
If they did run Space Center, how many would they run? 1 as a tech at max I guess. From Skarmory stalling you can easily draw a counter stadium and Skarmory would still be alive after an attack.

Btw Lunasol usually doesnt play Lati@s. There isnt enough room on the bench to do so:

e.g.
Active: Lunatone 1
Bench: Solrock 1
Bench: Solrock 2
Bench: Solrock 3
Bench: Solrock 4
Bench: Lunatone 2 (back up)

Its often to get all 4 of your Solrocks/Lunatone benched for your active Solrock/Lunatone to attack for max damage. Theres always a back up Pokemon in case the active is KOed. A Lati@lock would reduced damage by 10 and remove a decent backup hitter.


That being said.. Freddy can you give me a Skarmory? I need one.:smile:

I'll bring MKDS! Also, bring advance wars ds if people have that! I'll bring tetris DS for 10 player battles... and brain age for 16 player calculation battles!!!! (and yes, it supports 10 player tetris and 16 player brain age off of ONE CART!)

Prehaps I could organise some sort of an 8 way race, or a series of races. With the world cup fifa 06 seems appropriate too.
