Jimmy, there isn't a thread for Rockville. You may as well just count it as a VA CC anyway since MD doesn't seem to have OP anymore. :nonono:

Folks I really do appreciate your keeping the MD comments outta here.. Not that I don't love Laurel and Mike, but if you really want to discuss MD, you can certainly start a new thread on that topic. Please understand my position here; if we move too far in this "VA = MD" direction I will soon be getting "What time does Rockville start?" --type PMs and other things that would just invite confusion to casual players. I run VA events, and only VA events. BTW, good luck to all going to DW tomorrow. I'd LOVE it if you'd all come South, but I understand that I-95 can be a pain..

I do have it on good authority though that at least a few of you will be comin' to Midlo. Please know that it means a LOT to me as an organizer to know that you are traveling a greater distance to come to my event.

EDIT: Just heard from some YGO players who are at the store on Saturdays--apparently quite a few of you called today to prereg. Please call the store at (804) 276-PLAY and leave a message and let them know that you'll be there. I do know that some of you will be traveling so we'll do our best to accomodate all!! We're going for the Mido record!!!!!

I've tried calling and to no avail, been super busy n I didn't hear a voicemail or answering machine. I left a message n hope that they got it. I called to confirm but it was prolly to late. If anyone like totoro sees this Cullen jerid n Rob will be coming tomorrow n I'll call 10000000 times to make sure we can play

The times that you sent in the info will show up on the timestamp log. Did you write down the time that you submitted your information?

The information always gets onto the list if you get to the confirmation page. At the beginning of January, those on the list who have included their e-mail address will get a "reminder e-mail" that they are on the list in case they forgot or their plans changed and they didn't drop from the list.

Attendance was 43 today. We just missed the Midlo record of 44 set back in the 07 CC. Looks like we aren't gonna see age modified around here anymore!!! Gotta give a shout out to Keith and his crew who came from Ohio (!) Sorry, about the ice storm; hope to see you guys in the future (maybe a little closer to your state!!)

The cool thing about Midlothian is...

It's a true crossection of playstyles.

NoVa brought down the popular meta. (SP variants, Gliscor)
SoVa played the trend decks (Gliscor, Gyarados, Uxie Donk)
VaBeach and Lynchburg brough the creativity (randomness)
and let's not forget our new Yugioh! converts who stuck around the TOP tables!
(GG&Flygon, FlyChamp, DarkTtar)

I think I counted about 30 DIFFERENT decks being played at the Midlotian CC.
That's insanely cool!!

I'm gonna have to start calling Midlo "The Box of Cherries Tournaments" because you sit down and turn cards over and... "ya never know what you're gonna get" LOLz ..

PROPS = The happy overall sprit of the event! LOTS of laughing and noone getting grumpy over games :)
Slops = I just discovered I only have ONE DP Wobbefet. SO, there'll be no Wubba, Wubba deck :/

It sucks that I crash my car 4 hours after I win the event. My future CC's are in doubt now.
 
Johnny, so sorry about the accident, but really, really happy that you're ok.

I think I got a few lying around that you can have if you want them, if you're going to be at Stafford.

Anyway, I'll definitely be at Stafford (playing this time!)

totoro, any word on if there will be a booster draft after the Stafford event?
