Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Why M&Ms (Eeveelutions) are going to become Archetypes - A TC-EE Production

I am now fully convinced you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Turning it from an attack to a power is HUGE.
1. You can Devo then wager.
2. You can Devo then KO something you just Devo'd.
3. We didn't have Claydol to give Empoleon consistant draw back in cities.
4. The new Empoleon is INFINITLY superior to the old one.
5. New fossil means that pulling Omastar is easier to pull out.
Seriously, was comparing it to the old Omastar and the old Empoleon with 2 new sets added in between the best point you could make? At least try a valid point in your next arguement.

OMG I was asking a QUESTION not making a point, thats what the question mark after the statement is for.:nonono: I wasnt tryna debate I wanted to know what you meant and how it would so I ASKED,my goodness, are u so hung on yourself and proving a point that you think everything is a debate??<<<<< Question Mark so its a question.Thanx

Didn't see the question mark, sorry about that. I'm just used to some idiot coming in, saying the most retarded thing, then backing it up with completely irrelevant points, which is what I thought you were doing. I forget sometimes there there are more than like 10-12 people who actually know what they are talking about....

Its cool, your awlays in attack mode, but I didnt know how it would work so I asked not in a sarcastic way, just the simplest way. Only reason I said Emp and Star during cities, because I remember the silverstros trying it during cities and I seen some other people trying the deck also. It was a observation only. But its cool.

Hello? called teching? G & G already "wastes" a candy on dusknoir, and that works well, doesnt it? why wouldnt they just switch over to omastar?

Because Dusknior does more than use its power once, it keeps the opponent locked. Not to mention Dusknior is a good late game attacker.

Ok, Omastar is useless with Glaceon X out on the field and therefore it's a waste of deckspace. I'm focused more on the Glaceon/Espeon/Umbreon build then Leafeon/Sceptile decks and such. Also, the 1-0-1 Dusknoir tech that any Eeveelutions deck should be running will eat up Latilock and owns Empoleon. People might even just run 2-1-2 because it works against so many decks now.
Also, Glaceon comboes very well with the new Empoleon, as your support spaces if you choose to run then provide good fodder for Empo's attack, heck the new Glaceon theme deck even comes with Empoleon. It also works with Vaporeon/Jolteon techs and such.
I don't think DRE will be needed much in Glaceon decks, as Glaceon X will probably not be in play until T3 and by that time you should have a functional Glaceon, and that's if they can drop MD Omastar because of the Glaceon X lock.
I could imagine this line:

2-1-2 MD Empoleon

4 Eevee
2-2 Glaceon X
2 Espeon
1 Umbreon
Maybe 1 Vaporeon/Jolteon

2-2 Claydol
1-0-1 Dusknoir

Throw in a standard trainer line, some energy with 2 DRE, 2 Scramble and Call Energy, and you got a working line.

Ok, Omastar is useless with Glaceon X out on the field and therefore it's a waste of deckspace.

Latilock. Warp Point. KO the bloody Glaceon. People need to stop acting like Glaceon is a good power lock.
One of the above, Devo, Wager, extend hand, next match.

SPARTA: Glaceon Lv.X is good. Start with Eevee. Evolve to Glaceon. Lv-up next turn to Glaceon Lv.X. Viola!!! You got your powers locked. hehehe. You actually think that people are going to play Latilock? It's not that common. It'll only be a tech for Eeveelutions ONLY. It's not like it's gonna help against Magmortar or G&G. Just a waste of x2 cards in the deck. There is also the possibility of 1 of the 2 getting prized. With Glaceon, if one is prized, you still got the other. So I don't get what your point is. You won't always have a Warp Point in your hand. Most decks only carry 1. And 1 isn't enough to rely on.

1. A T3 Glaceon Lv.X with 3 Energy is a God start. Granted you will get it more than most other decks get a God start, but still it won't be every game.

2. Lati@s are good versus not only Eeveelutions, but Garchomp, Sceptile, Kabutops, Pidgeot d, and at least it can shut off Magmortar's Body. That could still make a small difference. The point is they aren't worthless and are useful vs a number of decks.

3. I don't know who or what you played against at States and Regionals but the majority of decks I see run 2-3 Warp Point, actually. There's also Cyclone Energy that started to see some more play and I don't see any reason it wouldn't now.

Finally, even a T3 Glaceon LV.X is hardly unbeatable for anything. It is unlikely that you will have much support following it. I mean maybe an Espeon or one other Eeveelution with 0 Energy (since you've attached 3 times). Even Magmortar only needs its starter, Roseanne, Call Energy, whatever within the first two turns and then a Magmortar and a few Energy. Magmortar/Scramble/Fire/Fire is NOT hard to pull off by T4 or so. And this is just for Mags. There's plenty of other things that can deal with it even better.

.... eeveelutions fail without 6 eevees, but since it's only allowed in prereleases... garchomp lv. X might be useful for eevee decks... just to get 'em all out...

^....you don't need every single one. Also, you won't be running all of your Eeveelutions at the same time. I'm totally gonna have 2 Glaceon/X, 2 Espeons, 1 Umbreon and a Vaporeon out at the same time...

Uhh...lets see. If you run 2-2 Latilock....just...no. If you're running 1-1, it might be prized, and even if it's not, it's relatively hard to get out. GG doesn't even have Pachi start and Mag has better things to do then a T2 Latilock, it needs to focus on getting T3-4 Mag up and running. Latilock is probably not going to be in play until at least T2-3, and if you get in Dusknoir, then gg Latilock. Also, only Gallade or a heavily powered Mag/X can take out Glaceon in one hit, and it's harder to get it out T3. The Latilock and Omastar drop won't work because first, it's harder to get in 4 tech spaces, and if you have them, you're most likely going to be considering Dusknoir first. The Omastar/Latilock combo also takes up 3 bench spaces, which is pretty much impossible for most decks.

It's pretty easy to get T3 Glaceon, get Eevee/Phione w/ Call Energy out T1, get Glaceon out T2 and Bebe's for Glaceon X T3. Not that hard, and DRE will help energize Glaceon quicker.

This strategy article was seriously a waste of time. The argument made is not worth arguing.

Q:Is eeveelutions going to be an archtype?
A:DUH!

DRE also makes it a considerably worse card... and susceptible to evil things.

If Glaceon didn't play Umbreon for the free retreat, or was Battle Frontier/Cessation Locked...

...Yikes. 80 + 30 = 110, which is greater then Glaceon's HP and a Pluspower away from KOing even with Espeon in play

Call energy, Roseanne's, pachi, and mentor all get latilock out in 1 turn. :/ Glaceon lvl X is a pushover for most decks nowadays. The glaceon player needs a fast lvl X with a wager before the opponet can get set-up or else its all over relatively fast.

uhhhhh yeah did you mention that glaceon is a bad attacker? its body only works when active too, so it has to be open to damage for it to work!

oh, darnit, 70 damage to my gallade...
oh well, sonic blade. looks like i can use powers. Teleport. Bring down Glaceon. good game.

T3 Glaceon Lv. X? Too bad I almost always get Gardy or Gallade T2.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Okay... well phione is a free knock out for me. if not, have fun wasting energy to retreat, detracting power from that glaceon.... And giving nice backup for my Dusknoir.

uhhhhh yeah did you mention that glaceon is a bad attacker? Glaceon Lv.X? Bad attacker? Have you TRIED it? 'Cause if you did, you wouldn't be saying that. Glaceon Lv.X does 70 damage, sure, but it also can snipe for 20 to each Bench, if you're lucky. 50% of the time that will be happening. Plus, 70 is a 2HKO. Lol, GARDEVOIR does 60 damage, stop Powers, Glaceon Lv.X does 70, snipe for 20, and has a Body that stops Powers. And you think 70 isn't enough...:nonono: its body only works when active too, so it has to be open to damage for it to work! So? Gardevoir and Gallade need to be Active to attack, same with EVERYTHING in the format.

You are not going to be set up like that every game, but also, if Sonic Blade was really that broken that it and Bring Down = Auto-win, don't you think EVERYONE would play G&G that way? Not the PLOX way?

T3 Glaceon Lv. X? Too bad I almost always get Gardy or Gallade T2. Then you must have GOD starts and luck everytime. They get out T3-4 usually. Sure, T3 most of the time, but T2 almost every game means you're soooooooo lucky

JMO.
