This may be the person that was buying cards (LV.X's, EX's, and Pachis) from us at the Parsippany, NJ Regionals. Since I won't be attending nationals, you will know that this is the gentleman I am talking about, because you will notice him with a pokemon card dice gambling game. He'll suggest that you shouldn't play it because you will get addicted to it (like I did). He wasn't buying reverse holos and commons from us, though.

Wow, I really want to be rude here but I won't. You need to think about what you say, that comment first isn't need second saying "little" is plain rude, and the fact it seems like YOUR trying to start a flame war between me and you. No, this is the Gathering Ground out of St. Louis, Missouri.

He does not deal with any "dice gambling games" or other gimmicky type affairs.

Drew, can you and your friends please let this drop, or I will do the tacky thing of deleting posts as being off-topic.

Man, I have 2,200 commons boxed and ready to go, but I'm a bit nervous that the vender (TGG) won't want anymore by Thursday. I bet he'll meet the million common goal by then.

What do you think, Vince?
 
He has assured me he will be buying ALL WEEKEND and will not stop at one millon.

To give you an idea. If every participant in the US Nationals in Masters (500) brought in 2000 cards, that would be one million cards.

he is prepared to go well over that announced amount!

Look yall...If you have the spare cards, have no use for them...Why not bring them??
If they are in good shape, you have them seperated, & know the amount, its a HECK of a deal! We just came back like an hour ago from selling him about 10,000+ & got an awesome deal! We dont have the time, the want to try to get rid of them, plus he lives here with us so hey, our gas money has now been gotten! We just sit on these cards & have no where to go with them so why not! Im sure we could have gotten more for them, but considering how weve gotten all of them, it was an AWESOME deal! So were not complaining! So I suggest if you have the extra cards, have time to gather the good ones up, & can squeeze them in into your luggage, it is CERTAINLY worth it! Especially if you cant sellt hem else where or just dont know where/how to!

Jason & his partner will give you a great deal...THEY ARE IN NEED so Im sure it will be well worth it to you! Trust me! :thumb:

The Gathering Ground does have a website...look them up. Im in St.Louis, play at the GG, & know Jason very well! I seen his trailer, he isnt playing around! Vince has stated what Jason is willing to buy & for how much. We are the messenger, nothing past that! I dont think any of us as Adults who have invested so much here would put our rears on the line to promote something we dont trust in ourselves!
Jason has stated what he is looking for, & how much he is willing to pay! You make the call yourself if you want to risk getting the cards together to sell & possibly "not" be able to sell. From what we could tell, he is buying & wont stop at this point! He has the funds to buy, & will buy! I certainly wouldnt risk showing up at his booth Sunday around 4pm wanting to sell, now that might not happen.
But past that, you read the main post & see what he is asking for, & you make the call yourself! I think Vince has done enough explaining what Jason aka The GG guy is looking for at this point! If you want to sell, then sell...If it sounds "FISHY" then DONT! Plain & Simple!

It's BEYOND obvious you can get a higher price for these cards, but at this type of convenience? I doubt it. You could waste countless hours listing each card individually on ebay and perhaps after a year you'd end up with more money, but in this scenario you're better off finding a job and working weekly hours instead of wasting your time and destroying your eye sight. What's being offered here is an extremely swift and simple way to earn some cash, from a location which most of you are going to ANYWAY. My final comment on the previous matter: Those who say they can get more for these cards from other people without revealing them generate a paradox: They are offered this price due to the high demand and low suppliers, so obviously if more people found out about them their prices will drastically drop. I bet they'll drop below what Gathering Ground has been offering for years now, and it's never been a secret.
 
really quick, for the reverse holos if they are common reverse holos will you get 10 cents or 2 cents. Also if the regular holos are revers will you still get a quarter or what?

a few questions. if the answer is somewhere in the otehr posts im too lazy to read it.
does he collect trainers?
rare energy?
holo energy?
do u have to sort out rares,commons and uncommons?
do u have to count for him or does he count it himself?
i need the answer soon. thanks.
 
You do not need to sort anything.

Just separate your commons and uncommons (one batch)

Your Rares

Your Holos

And your Reverse holos

Keep your Lvl Xs, Ex, Shinings, and the like to the side, as he will buy those on a card by card basis (not just $1 per EX, but a good price for the better cards!)


You should have an idea of how many you have, otherwise, he will most likely "stack count" your cards, which is taking a stack of 100 and measuring your cards against the stack. It is a quick estimate way of counting.

The more info you have, the faster your transaction will go, and the faster you will have your money.
