Nah, they won't reprint Claydol. Watch them print:

Grumpig - hp80 - Psychic
Pokepower: Pearl Power
Once during your turn, before your attack, you may use this power. Put 1 or 2 cards from your hand on the bottom of your deck, then draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand. This power cannot be used if Grumpigis affected by a special condition.
[P][C] Bounce 40
Weakness: [P] x2
Resistance:
Retreat Cost: [C][C]

See? Totally NOT a Claydol reprint.

Okay, that is just weird.

Wow, pretty awesome to hear that Call of Legends is actually going to have some special deck boxes for distribution at prereleases. That sounds awesome! I hope that they aren't made of a cardboard because based off what I'm seeing, these deck boxes have a cool design.

Man, Call of Legends sounds like one exciting set.:thumb:

Any speculation to when we might get more info? Tough call because we usually have a Japanese set to look over before the release of an English set, but this is different. How soon before the Prerelease of Power Keepers did we start seeing more cards?

Same as usual. About a day or two. And not through official channels either.

I admit, I disagree. I'm not excited about the deck boxes. Once you have one deck box, you don't really need more. Sleeves, on the other hand, you always need. I'd rather get sleeves that I have a use for than a deck box I may not use, and really don't need.

We might get a Sceptile Prime, Blaziken Prime, and Swampert Prime. Maybe also reprint their oldest versions from Great Encounters.

I've got my fingers crossed for a Roseanne's reprint. ^^' I can't think of one good card in the current format to get energy like that... (not counting the SP engine. I mean for decks in general not only SP's)

I'm really curious to see what primes they print. =/ It would be nice to see the other eeveelus. Or even some hoenn pokemon.

I'm hoping for a Roseanne's reprint too... I think that would even out the format a little. Hard to tech cards like Relicanth with no reliable way to get a fighting energy =/

Am I seriously the only one that runs Cyrus in non-SP dex?

I run atleast 2 in most my decks. Its such a useful card.

Personally I'd hate to see any cards such as rosey or claydol reprinted. I want a slower format. It'd be so nice and refreshing for this game.

I think Pidgeot from FRLG would be an exciting reprint. Not only would it give slower setup decks a new lease on life; it would also be extremely balanced versus SP due to its OHKO potential versus Garchomp, as well as its be-OHKO'd status vs Flash Impact and Dragon Rush+Flash Bites.

This game was at its healthiest from 2004-2006, and Pidgeot is largely responsible for this.

I'm hoping for a hard counter to Lost World (assuming it is printed in English at all).

Something like this:

Locked Gym

Stadium

[picture of of a Gym door with a big lock and a "Be back later" note on it.]

Players may not play any Stadium cards.

Return Locked Gym to it's owner's hand whenever it would be placed into the discard pile.

The Gym Leader is out, please come back later.

I just skipped from the end of page 1 to the beginning of page 6, so I only really know what's been speculated on pages 1 and 6. So forgive me if any of this has already been said.

Somebody mentioned re-prints? I wouldn't mind a Kabutops PK reprint. It would make Omastar MD so much more powerful (for maybe a few months, until Omastar MD is rotated).

Or, with the primes and reprints they could revive a bunch of Pokemon that, at least at the moment, are forgotten in the TCG. Most particularly 3rd-Gen Pokemon, which I think is hinted at already by the Call of Legends box having Kyogre, Deoxys, etc. I mean, take Shiftry, which at the moment has only one card, and each of its evolutions have only one card (Cacturne also falls into this problem). What if they reprinted the Shiftry EX from PK as a Shiftry Prime? That card would really change the game up, and would give cards that return Pokemon to the opponent's hand (like Seeker, or HOMG Omastar MD) more playability. Ooooh, a Shiftry Prime/Omastar deck would give me the chills! Seriously, who WOULDN'T be scared by that deck? You've got your most powerful Pokemon, loaded with energies, and ready to do, say, a hundred damage, and Omastar is dropped, followed by Shiftry using that beautiful attack for a single energy on you! Yikes!

Otherwise, Base Set/Jungle/Fossil/Gym Leader/Rocket reprints would be cool. I wouldn't mind seeing Aerodactyl get the treatment Vileplume got when it was Power-reprinted in HGSS. But if you guys didn't notice already, I'm a fan of devolution decks.
