No, just the *first* 5. I'm only presenting the options. You make the judgment.

(6) Chingling/Chimecho. This would be for setup. Search a Supporter. Draw 3. Sure does slow down the deck.

(7) Uxie. Memory Out Poke-Power seems like it could have some value for defense.

(8) Sandshrew/Sandslash. Pretty decent Basic, though loses the quick beatdown, but it also spreads damage and gives some resistance. Defensive Spike Armor, interesting Poison Spikes. Good bottom stats.

(9) Sudowoodo. This really looks good. 20 damage for 1-Colorless, and flip Agility if evolved Bonsly (but I wouldn't use Bonsly). Tempt is a pretty good attack also. The Water Weakness x 2 is worrisome.

10. Skull Fossil/Cranidos/Rampardos. Skull Fossil's Poke-Body doesn't kick in until it's KO'd, Cranidos is a lower-level Lucario. Rampardos' attacks are tremendous, and only 1 to retreat. If Skull Fossil actually did anything, I would *think about* this to be a replacement for Machamp.

wow thats impressive (and how were you able to test MT cards yet???)
THEY ARENT RELEASED YET!!!!
oh and very odd SAME TIME POST...
so then i guess...
- 1 Machamp (DP)
would be the play???
if so, DECK EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
- 1 Machop (DP)
- 1 Prof. Rowan
- 1 H. Mentor
+ 2 Great Ball
+ 1 Crystal Shard
+ 1 Castaway

would be the play???
if so, DECK EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

RE than just basics, right?
ALSO TO ANSWER KING GENGAR"S QUESTIONS
1) 2 Great Ball and 1 Mentor seems to be the play because they are only 7 basics in the deck AND
you would want to use the supporter for the turn for MO

2)I think it should be 2 Rowan AND 2 Copycat (i mean why not? you CAN fit them both!)

the machamp lines 3-2-2 +1 is perfect (perfect dont exist )
2machamp dp and 3 machop are needed
3 castaway and 1 crystal shard are good
dabest, your fix is senseless

shiny marshtomp's build is very nice

if in metagame dont develop "ex deck ". i would test 3 machamp dp and 0 machamp pk...

i prefere use 4 cessation and 3 bf for lock inferncatty at t2....:thumb:

Infernape isn't the main problem.

I would like to lock flygon ove infernape, cause Flygon is a worse matachup..

I think 2 mentor/1 greatball is sensless. You never found greatball when you need.
2 greatball and 1 mentor(for castaway) seems good, but I still think that 3 greatball are the best.

Reasons for using Bill's Maintenance?I still don't undestand why to use this instead of TVreporter or similar..

Another question.
Does anyone thinks that 4-2-3-1 Machamp line is good?
I'm now trying it and it seems working well. I have 8 basics and 3 gratball, that give me 2-3 benching pokemon all the time and a bit less mulligan, and also i can use 3x machamp in a match vs decks that don't run any ex.

i do think so. PK machamp aint THAT important~

I still find Brick Smash to be very useful, even if EX's are less prevalent.

(11) Dodrio. Triple Picking does 30 to 3 of opponent's Evolved Pokemon. The Doduo has good bottom stats, Dodrio is No Retreat, and Colorless vs Salamence/Flygon. Only problem is it doesn't provide any disruption.

(12) Happiny/Blissey. Blissey's Poke-Power would be nice for this deck. It can fight a little, and Colorless vs Salamence/Flygon. 3 retreat is terrible and +30 vs Fighting goes against philosophy. Happiny is OK with its no-energy attack, and it can stall forever it seems.

(13) Girafarig. Basically, like Mawile CG, to get a Trainer. Second attack is fair, provides some disruption, and offers Colorless vs Salamence/Flygon. Really, not bad at all.

(14) Slakoth/Vigoroth. An opportunity to do a quick 60 with Awakening Punch, but thereafter is very slow and flippy. Slakoth provides disruption, and both have decent bottom stats. Colorless vs Salamence/Flygon.

(15) Aipom/Ambipom. Commanding Tail could be the answer to some prayers, doing 30 damage, and forcing opponent's luck with coin flips. Charity Tail is one of those alternative attacks which blows you away- 80 damage if opponent has less than 2 cards in hand. And, if not, just use Commanding Tail. Aipom is actually quite good, and both provide Colorless vs Salamence/Flygon. I'm favoring this right now.

(16) Garchomp. Great card, but so hard to achieve in Mario. I'll say no.

(17) Lucario Lv.X. nuff said.

(18) Team Galactic's Bet. What do you think? Would you do it? It *is* a Rocket's Admin in a way. You might come out the winner or the loser. I like the name anyway.

JASON: pretty good, but I don't about "nuts." I'll probably do my analysis of DP3 later this month. Just want to get settled with DP2 first.

What does Dodrio do exactly?

Also, because Girafarig was made in DP-on, he can only grab non-supporter, non-stadium trainers (like Budew) unless it is worded that he can grab all trainers and all supporters and all stadiums.

Dodrio L.34 – Colorless – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Doduo

[C] Fury Attack: Flip 3 coins, this attack does 10 damage x the number of heads.
[C][C][C] Triple Picking: Does 30 damage to 3 of your opponent's Evolved Pokemon.

Weakness: Lightning (+20)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 0

ON GIRAFARIG: I'll have to reconsider then.

The only downsides I am seeing to Dodrio is that it's cheap attack is very lacking, and it's strong attack requires a bit of energy and only hits evolved pokemon. If any deck like absolutions pops up, or mynx, and has all basics, dodrio is pretty useless. With very few scramble (if any now) in the deck, how do we expect to pay for the CCC cost efficiently?

3 energies??

Mh..I was thinking, are those teches REALLY needed? In particular stage 1/2 or something that needs 3 NRGs.

I think that if this deck need a tech, that could be a 1x basic, nothing more.It could ruin the consistance, doesn't it?

EDIT:That's the bigget topic in this section excluding the metanite one.All the others archetipes have less replies. And we still count as a normal topic? Please someone move this in the archetype section or in front page *_*

crystal shard is better than this guy

Yeah, that's true. Since we're gonna run 1-2 Shard, Dodrio as a Colorless isn't the issue, and the idea of a Stage 1 line that needs 3 energy is very tough, just like Clefable DP. So, given the flippiness, and the situational quality of the good attack (must be Evolved Pokemon), I'm willing to say, "Dodrio, no" for Mario.

I'd say no for all the stage 1 teches if you wanna save the Lucario and Machamp line..

Too bad for the consistancy..

Yeah, you might as well just use a Crystal Shard or 2, not spend needed slots and turns building a pokemon.

I've taken Gyarados, Octillery, Chingling/Chimecho, Uxie, Dodrio, and Garchomp off the table.

May I focus on this combo:

Exeggcute HP +

Exeggutor L.46 – Grass – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Exeggcute

[C] Explosive Ball: Flip a coin for each Energy attached to Exeggutor and to the Defending Pokemon. This attack does 30 damage x the number of heads.
[G] Nutrient Supply: Search your deck for up to 2 Grass Energy cards and attach them to your Pokemon in any way you like. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Weakness: Fire (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

The Exeggcute is capable of delivering a little damage (although totally weak to Psychic), and the Exeggutor's Explosive Ball is accessible, quick, and powerful (when you flip "correctly"). You also get Grass type.

Thoughts?

I'm too bad in flipping, I'll NEVER play it.

The only thing that i like is having the grass tipe, but since metagame will not ask for that tipe, i think that we shouldn't play eggs..
