Here are the first Shining Pokémon! Note that for Mega Man, I had to move a Shining Pokémon from another topic to here for him so there wouldn't be any repitition. That Shining Pokémon is Mew. Note: It's worded such that Energy such as Rainbow Energy, Multi Energy, etc. don't add to the damage, but cards such as Darkness Energy {D}, Metal Energy {M}, Aqua Energy TA/TM {W}{D}, etc. do add to the damage. Yes, I know Bass's Shining Persian can't have Aqua Energy TA/TM attached to it. I only referenced it since if it could have that card attached to it, it would add to the damage.

Okay! One thing that this set has that the previous one didn’t have is e-Reader data! By scanning the cards in this set with the e-Reader while connected to Mega Man Anniversary Collection (Gamecube) and Mega Man & Bass will allow you to take on unique missions in those games!

If you scan each Mega Man, Roll, Proto Man, Bass, Dr. Wily, and King Pokémon card while connected to Mega Man Anniversary Collection and Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire or FireRed/LeafGreen (this requires either a dual-link cable or two link cables, both connected to the Gamecube), you'll be able to do something Special in Mega Man 7 or Mega Man 8. This mission is also possible in Mega Man & Bass. After scanning each card with the e-Reader, you'll be asked on the Game Boy Advance with Mega Man & Bass to remove the e-Reader from the other GBA and insert a Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire or FireRed/LeafGreen gamepak. For Mega Man 7, you'll need to enter the "Full Power Password" (1415, 5585, 7823, 6251), which will unlock all of the stages. For Mega Man 8 and Mega Man & Bass, you have to have accessed Wily's Tower (Mega Man 8) or King's Foretress (Mega Man & Bass). On the GBA with Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen, you'll be asked to upload your current party of Pokémon to your Mega Man game.

Once all this is done, you'll head to either Dr. Light's Lab (Mega Man 7) or the Shop (Mega Man 8 & Mega Man & Bass). Dr. Light will tell you that Gym Leaders from Kanto (Mega Man 7), Hoenn (Mega Man 8), or Johto (Mega Man & Bass) have ended up in the Robot Masters' Stages. What you have to do is select a stage from the Stage Select Screen. You'll notice that this time, each Robot Masters' picture is replaced with that of a Gym Leader's. (It's Ken Sugimori art, with the Kanto Gym Leaders' being from FireRed/LeafGreen.)

Mega Man 7
Burst Man: Misty, TM18 (Rain Dance)
Cloud Man: Blaine, TM38 (Fire Blast)
Junk Man: Lt. Surge, TM24 (Thunderbolt)
Freeze Man: Brock, TM37 (Sandstorm)
Slash Man: Erika, TM19 (Giga Drain)
Spring Man: Koga, TM06 (Toxic)
Shade Man: Sabrina, TM29 (Psychic)
Turbo Man: Janine, TM36 (Sludge Bomb)

Mega Man 8
Grenade Man: Roxanne, TM39 (Rock Tomb)
Frost Man: Norman, TM42 (Façade)
Tengu Man: Winona, TM40 (Aerial Ace)
Clown Man: Wattson, TM34 (Shock Wave)
Astro Man: Tate & Liza, TM04 (Calm Mind)
Aqua Man: Wallace, TM03 (Water Pulse)
Sword Man: Flannery, TM50 (Overheat)
Search Man: Brawly, TM07 (Bulk Up)

Mega Man & Bass
Cold Man: Pryce, TM13 (Ice Beam)
Burner Man: Bugsy, TM11 (Sunny Day)
Pirate Man: Clair, TM02 (Dragon Claw)
Ground Man: Chuck, TM31 (Brick Break)
Tengu Man: Falkner, TM07 (Hail)
Magic Man: Whitney, TM45 (Attract)
Astro Man: Morty, TM30 (Shadow Ball)
Dynamo Man: Jasmine, TM23 (Iron Tail)

What you'll have to do is head into the stage (all enemies and hazards are still there) and make your way to the end where you fought the Robot Master. In the room, you'll find the Gym Leader who's in that stage. When you battle him/her, a screen saying "Battle Standby" will appear. You'll then have to go to the connected GBA with Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen and battle the Leader. (The graphics, sprites, music, and anything else will be R/S/FR/LG ones.) You'll use the Pokémon you uploaded to the Mega Man game. The Kanto Gym Leaders use their rematch teams from Johto League Masters 3 (found here) and the Hoenn Gym Leaders use their rematch teams from Pokémon League Guys (found here). The Johto Gym Leaders use the teams listed below:

Falkner: L64 Dodrio, L66 Pidgeot, L63 Noctowl
Bugsy: L65 Butterfree, L67 Scizor, L64 Ariados
Whitney: L66 Clefable, L68 Miltank, L65 Linoone
Morty: L67 Misdreavus, L69 Gengar, L67 Sableye, L66 Dusclops
Chuck: L68 Machamp, L70 Poliwrath, L67 Heracross, L67 Breloom
Jasmine: L69 Magneton, L71 Steelix, L68 Skarmory, L68 Aggron
Pryce: L70 Cloyster, L72 Dewgong, L72 Piloswine, L69 Glalie, L69 Walrein
Clair: L71 Altaria, L71 Flygon, L73 Salamence, L73 Kingdra, L70 Flygon, L70 Altaria

And here's Janine's team (since she shows up in Mega Man 7 instead of Giovanni).
Janine: L53 Crobat, L51 Venomoth, L52 Weezing, L52 Muk, L51 Swalot

For defeating that Gym Leader, you receive 5 of a specific TM that is put into your Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen gamepak. (The TM is listed next to the Gym Leader.) For a final note, in Mega Man 7, when you select Shade Man's (Sabrina's) stage while doing this mission and do the same thing you do to get the stage's alternate music, a rendition of Sabrina's theme music from Pokémon Puzzle League will play throughout the stage.

If you scan each Robot Master Pokémon card while connected to Mega Man Anniversary Collection, you can take on a unique mission in either Mega Man 7 or Mega Man 8. You can also take on the same mission in Mega Man & Bass.

When you go and select Mega Man 7, you'll first need to enter the "Full Power Password" (1415, 5585, 7823, 6251), which will unlock all of the stages. After entering the password, there'll be a cutscene where you head to Dr. Light's lab. Dr. Light will inform you that three suspicious people are wreaking havoc at the Robot Museum. You'll then head to the Museum. Just head through the short stage like you do when you defeat 4 of the Robot Masters. At the end, you'll find… Jessie and James of Team Rocket (along with Meowth)! They'll boast that they're at the Museum by orders of their boss (Giovanni) and that they've obtained what they were looking for. They'll then leave through the hole in the ceiling, leaving behind the same jester-like boss robot you had to fight the first time you went through here. Use the same tactics to defeat it.

For Mega Man 8, you'll have to have accessed Wily's Tower (meaning you will have to have completed all eight Robot Master Stages). After using the e-Reader, you'll get a message from Dr. Light telling you to head to the mine (where you fought Duo). You'll go straight to the mine and have to make your way through it like you did the first time. After reaching the end of the stage, you'll find… Butch and Cassidy of Team Rocket! They'll tell you that they as well as several other organizations have plans to use with the Evil Energy. They'll then leave, leaving behind the Green Devil (the green, gelatinous robot you fight in Stage 3 of Wily's Tower). You then have to fight the Devil. It, however acts like the Green Devil from the Museum Stage of Mega Man & Bass. Use the same tactics to defeat it.

For Mega Man & Bass, you'll have to have accessed King's Foretress (meaning you will have to have completed all eight Robot Master Stages and broke all the Crystals in the Crystal Teleport Stage). After using the e-Reader, you'll get a message from Dr. Light telling you to head to the Robot Museum (the intro stage). You'll go straight to the Museum and have to make your way through it like you did the first time. After reaching the end of the stage, you'll find… Annie and Oakley of Team Rocket! They'll tell you that they have restolen all the robot data and they they as well as several other organizations plan to use the data for their own purposes. They'll then leave, leaving behind the same Green Devil you fought at the beginning of the game. You then have to fight the Devil again. Use the same tactics to defeat it.

After defeating the boss, you'll head back to Dr. Light's lab (or the Shop in Mega Man 8 and Mega Man & Bass), where Dr. Light will tell you that several criminal organizations are wreaking havoc all over the place and that you'll have to stop them. The groups happen to be the same ones from Magma/Aqua/Flora Axis and Plasma/Rocket Ambitions. You'll be asked to equip yourself with six Pokémon. The Pokémon are all preset with moves to take on each of the teams. (They're not the best movesets or items for them, though.) Here are the Pokémon:

Venusaur
Holds: Leftovers

Each of the teams occupies two of the eight Robot Master stages. What you'll do here as you head through each of the stages, you'll run into Grunts of that team. Whenever you encounter one, a screen saying "Battle Standby" will appear. You'll then have to go to the connected Game Boy Advance and battle the Grunt. (The graphics, sprites, music, and anything else will be R/S/FR/LG ones.) You'll use the Pokémon you selected back at the lab. Here's where each of the teams are:

After completing each of the eight stages, you’ll head back to Dr. Light’s lab (or the Shop in Mega Man 8 and Mega Man & Bass), where Dr. Light will tell you that three more criminal organizations have set up operations in Wily’s Castle (Mega Man 7), Wily’s Tower (Mega Man 8), or King’s Foretress (Mega Man & Bass). You’ll then be able to head to the Foretress from the Stage Select Screen. You’ll have to make your way through the Foretress’s stages, each containing eight Grunts and two Admins and/or high-ranking members.

In Mega Man 7’s Foretress’s first stage, you’ll fight four Cipher Peons before reaching the room where you fought Bass, fight Ein in Bass’s room, then fight four more Peons before reaching the room where you fought the large Guts Man robot (where Nascour is waiting for you). In the second stage, you’ll fight four Team Snagem Grunts before the room where you fought Bass a second time, fight Fein (who is disguised as Proto Man) in said room, then fight four more Grunts before reaching the room where you fought the large turtle robot (where Agnol is waiting for you). In the third stage, you’ll fight four Team Rocket Grunts and then Tyson before the spike-laden hall with the timed platforms. After the spike hall (where you go either up or down), you’ll fight four more Grunts along whichever path you chose. (The Grunts on the upper path appear after the disappering block area and the Grunts on the lower path appear before the room containg the crab mini-boss.) At the end of the stage, you’ll enter the room where you fought the large “Mask” robot (where Iron Masked Maruader, or I.M.M. is waiting for you).

In Mega Man 8’s Foretress’s first stage, you’ll fight all eight Cipher Peons after the jet board section. In the room containg the quad pod boss, you’ll find both Ein and Nascour waiting for you. (You’ll fight Ein first, then Nascour.) In the second stage, you’ll fight four Team Snagem Grunts in the section before the Rush Jet section. Right before the Rush Jet half, you’ll find Fein (disguised as Roll) and have to battle him. In the second half of the stage, you’ll fight four more Grunts on rocket platforms as you make your way through the flying stage on Rush. At the end of the stage, you’ll find Agnol on the attack ship boss you fought here and have to battle him. (You don’t fight the ship itself.) In the third stage, you’ll you’ll fight four Team Rocket Grunts before the room where you fought Bass, fight Tyson in said room, then fight four more Grunts before reaching the room where you fought the Green Devil (where I.M.M. is waiting for you).

In Mega Man & Bass’s Foretress’s first stage, you’ll fight all eight Cipher Peons before reaching the room before the room where you fought the “owl” robot. You’ll fight Ein in the first room, then Nascour in the boss room. In the second Stage, you’ll fight three Team Snagem Grunts before the room where you fight the King Tank (you still have to fight the Tank), fight two more grunts before the area with the King Jet (you still have to fight the Jet), then fight three more Grunts before the room where you fought King. You’ll find and battle Fein (who is disguised as either Bass (if you’re Mega Man) or Mega Man (if you’re Bass)) in the first room, then find and battle Agnol in the second room. In the third stage, you’ll fight a Team Rocket Grunt in each Robot Master rematch room (after defeating the Grunt, you have to fight the Robot Master). After defeating all eight, you’ll appear in a room where Tyson and I.M.M. are waiting for you. You’ll fight Tyson first, then I.M.M. Anyway, here’s what each Grunt and Admin/boss has (for all three games):

Cipher Peon (1)
Slowpoke

Cipher Peon (2)
Lotad, Ralts

Cipher Peon (3)
Abra, Carvanha, Kirlia

Cipher Peon (4)

When you reach the final stage of the Foretress, you’ll have to refight each Robot Master like you would normally do. Afterwards, you’ll appear in the area where you fight Dr. Wily. You’ll find him along with the leaders of each of the Teams you fought. Dr. Wily will explain to you that he has joined forces with the Teams to take over the world. You’ll then have to fight each of the leaders in the order they are listed. Here’s what each leader has:

Magma Leader Maxie
Mightyena, Crobat, Arcanine, Rhydon, Houndoom, Camerupt

Aqua Leader Archie

Rocket Leader Giovanni
Swalot, Sandslash, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Swampert, Rhydon

After defeating them all, Dr. Wily will appear in his second craft. (What I mean is you go straight to the second phase of the battle instead of fighting both forms.) Defeat Wily like you normally would (which could still be pretty tough). You’ll then get a slightly different ending, where each of the leaders leaves the place knowing they have been defeated.

<SPOILERS>In Mega Man 7, after the part where Mega Man seems like he’s going to shoot Wily, as Mega Man leaves the Foretress before it explodes, you’ll see Team Magma’s, Aqua’s Flora’s, Plasma’s, and Giovanni’s helicopters fly from the Foretress before the explosion.

After the ending, you’ll get a message saying they you’ve been given special gifts to put in your Pokémon game (Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGeeen). Connect a Game Boy Advance containing the Pokémon game to Mega Man Anniversary Collection. For Mega Man & Bass, the gifts will be stored in the e-Reader while you turn off Mega Man & Bass and put in your Pokémon game. Here’s what the gifts you receive are:

- A MEGAMAN STATUE for the Secret Base (if you did the mission in Mega Man 7)
- A PROTOMAN STATUE for the Secret Base (if you did the mission in Mega Man 8)
- A BASS STATUE for the Secret Base (if you did the mission in Mega Man & Bass)

Scan all of the Robot Masters' Trainer cards into the e-Reader, connected to Ruby/Sapphire. This is a Battle Tower challenge where you'll face eight Robot Masters, all with six L100 Pokémon.

When you talk to the receptionist, you'll get a special conversation. It goes like this:

"DR. WILY's Robots have invaded the BATTLE TOWER. Eight Robots have been taking out all who dares to challenge. Will you take the challenge?"

Then you're prompted yes or no. Say no and you'll get "I hope you'll be able to take the challenge sometime." Say yes and get the following:

"Each of the Robot Masters had 6 Pokémon. Just to be fair, you get to take 6 Pokémon into the challenge, with no level limits." (That means that you can take any Pokémon into this challenge, regardless of level, as long as they're six different kinds.)

Afterwards, you'll be checked for whether you're trying to take eggs in. If you have an egg, you'll get the usual "you can't take an egg in" message, and the conversation reverts to the no choice above. If you've got only Pokémon, you'll be let into the Battle Tower.

You'll face the Robot Masters in the order they were taken down in the Mega Man games. Here's what Pokémon they have and the phrase they use at the start of the fight (and, if necessary, the prize for beating that trainer):

An instrumental of Wily's second theme from Mega Man 7 (found here) plays during this battle.

If you scan each Mega Man, Roll, Proto Man, Bass, Dr. Wily, and King Pokémon card as well as each Trainer card into the e-Reader while connected to Pokémon Colosseum, go to any TV, and you'll hear a telecast… done by Dr. Wily! He'll boast that he's taken over Mt. Battle and is building an enormous mind control tower on the top. So far, the mind control device has taken over the minds of everyone on Mt. Battle--and Wily's using them to block the path to the top. What you need to do is go to Mt. Battle and speak to the receptionist. You'll be whisked to Area 3 to start the mission. You'll notice that in place of the usual Trainers on Mt. Battle are Sniper Joes. Each of the Sniper Joes use Pokémon of various types. Like normally, the levels of the Pokémon increase as you make your way up as well as they become more evolved. The Pokémon here aren't random, but there's way too many to list. On the tenth platform of each Area, you'll find a specific Robot Master that you'll have to battle. With the exception of their levels, each of them uses the same Pokémon they use in the Ruby/Sapphire Battle Tower mission. For the Sniper Joes populating each platform, here's the "schematics" of the Pokémon they have are:

Area 3: Fire-type Pokémon L31-35; Heat Man's Pokémon, all at L40
Area 4: Electric-type Pokémon L31-35; Spark Man's Pokémon, all at L40
Area 5: Psychic-type Pokémon L36-40; Star Man's Pokémon, all at L45
Area 6: Dark-type Pokémon L36-40; Dark Man's Pokémon, all at L45*
Area 7: Grass-type Pokémon L41-45; Plant Man's Pokémon, all at L50
Area 8: Ice/Water-type Pokémon L46-50; Freeze Man's Pokémon, all at L55
Area 9: Steel-type Pokémon L51-55; Junk Man's Pokémon, all at L60
Area 10: Ground/Rock-type Pokémon L56-60, Ground Man's Pokémon, all at L60

* Instead of having a Tyranitar, Dark Man will have an Umbreon as his final Pokémon.

You'll notice that you'll battle Ground Man on platform 99. After defeating him, you'll be able to reach platform 100. When you reach there, you'll notice that there is a massive radio-like tower being constructed. You'll also see Dr. Wily's Skull Ship next to the tower. On the platform, you'll see Bass, King, and Dr. Wily. You'll have to fight each of them. Bass will challenge you first, then King, and finally Dr. Wily. Bass and King use the same teams they use in the Ruby/Sapphire Battle Tower mission. Here's what Pokémon they each use:

Platform 100
Bass's Pokémon, all at L65
King's Pokémon, all at L65
Dr. Wily's Pokémon; Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Steelix, Exploud, Tyranitar; all at L65
Note: The same music from your second battle with Dr. Wily the Ruby/Sapphire Battle Tower mission plays during your battle with him.

After the battle, Wily will boast that you still can't stop his plan to control all the minds in Orre. Suddenly, both Lugia and Ho-oh will appear over Mt. Battle and fire blasts that destroy the control tower. Dr. Wily then decides he has no choice but to flee. He rushes to his Skull Ship with Bass and King behind him. They get aboard and start to fly away, firing blasts at Lugia and Ho-oh that even though they shield themselves against, distracts tham and Wily makes a getaway. You however, thwarted his plans and will receive a special prize. After being asked to return to the front desk at Mt. Battle, go to your PC, and you'll find a L70 Lugia there. (Unlike with Ho-oh, purifying all the Shadow Pokémon isn't necessary.)

One last piece of data. If you scan a specific Enigma Island Promo into the e-Reader while connected to Mega Man & Bass, you’ll get a special CD in the CD Data Base. The CD is of the person who the card belongs to. (Ex: If you scan Brock’s Hideaway, you’ll get a CD numbered 101 named “Brock”.) Each CD follows the same pattern of information as the other 100 CDs, giving information on that person. Any Enigma Island Promo will yield a CD for the Data Base, including ones such as the ones from the Sonic sets.
