Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK National Championships - 2nd June 2007

lol 2 years ago, I walked from the train station. Took ages and it was seriously hot, I ended up ill all day long. I think I'll just get a taxi, shouldn't be too much but I think it started later that time, so I may have to stay up there as well.

Well whatever it takes I'll be there so long as I manage to get an invite.

Scott didn't qualify in Hackney, he qualified and won in the "Islington CC". The qualifier from Hackney was someone in t4, but deffinatly not Scott.

The guy that qualified in Hackney is a guy called Nathaniel (nt sure of last name). He's a fairly young chap with a son in 10-

Any one of the Regionals should qualify you but London and Bournemouth maybe your best bets as they are towrds the end of the run :D

At Bournemoth last year everybody qualified! If you can make it to London and don't go 0-4 you should be fine.

GL to you!

i remember two yrs ago at reading, we technically had qualifying places LEFT there were so few players, and so many of those already qualified lol

Just shows the qualification system is really just to force players to attend tourneys not to perform in them.

to b honest justin i dont think i will even qualify or if i do dont think ill b able to get to nats but im gonna try me hardest ta get to em its finding the regionals renues whihc is gonna be the problem for me
btw those odds seem to gd mate im lacking practice lol

Bruce, just get to London, go 2/2 and you'll be fine.

I think I'll make a full book of the odd's, then release them after nats. Just like the notebook last year!

gettting into liverpool st is fine its gettin from there to the venue whihc is going to be hard for me as dont know my way round london

Okay updated with Nathaniel can we confirm Scott won the NOT Islington CC? if so that makes 70 known qualified players for UK Nationals :D

The big question everyone is asking is how we qualify for next year's nationals; well I am now in a position to officially confirm the qualification criteria. To qualify you must:-

· Have finished as one of the Top 4 players in your age group in the 2006 nationals
· Be the top unqualified player in your age group in a City Championships (more info to follow)
· Be in one of the top 8 unqualified players in your age group in a Regional Championships (more info to follow)
· Be in the Top 25 Premier Rankings for your age group – Note slots will not drop down if a player is already qualified.

How do we go from Top 25 Premier rankings (who will probably already have qualified) to Top 50?

Yet more fudge and fumble at TPfG?

Bruce, you should be ok getting into a top spot at London regional. Cant see any reason you shouldn't! See if you can get up to league on Friday and get some practice in. Matthew, Sean, Simon,Richard etc are regularly turning up with some good decks now and should give you some good matches! It is unlikely that Shaun and myself will attend either London or Nats. If that changes I will let you know and you can come down with us.
