And you say Blaziken Rayquaza isn't THAT BROKEN? Its only broken right now, to the degree of original MF's Gatr. Toss in Blaziken EX when it comes out and the deck only loses on an awful hand. I am not joking. 100 to the bench. 150 HP. The deck becomes unbeatable.

And ANY deck shows potential vs bad players. Why do you think I went undefeated for 3 months at my league using DARK VENUSAUR. T he cards HORRIBLE. But when the opposition is MORE HORRIBLE it cancels out.

Also, someone mentioned that its different to try and beat a deck now that the deck list is available. First off, if a deck only stands a chance by surprise, how is it good? It is usable ONCE and than never again. That negates the point of a deck as a viable choice. To boot, most good players can adapt and see what a deck is doing and beat it anyways. Rogue decks do not have an innate surprise advantage against EVERYONE. Theres alot of us out there who can still play near flawless vs it.

As for the bet with Newman, dang straight I am serious! I have alot of cash left over from Origins and Gen Con last year, I can back it. I will play him at Gen Con or Origins if he goes. Since hes too chicken to play on Apprentice.

yes that is what i run and i get my cards out so fast its not funny i can beat by 3 turns that is all i need.

ok when you play and you go against a wobb and your ex is out just switch to you wailord on the bench then energy connect to that wailord then do 70 its that easy its a hard deck to learn but i wipes the floor becuase everyone runs a bar deck or salmence deck.

Your main attacker requires 5 energy to attack and you win in 3 turns?

Yeah, Muk EX deals 180 damage a shot. But when I played Wailord EX at the CC, I faced 3 Muk EX decks and beat 2 of them. I think the 2 I faced did not have LPS active. That extra 10 HP makes a TON of difference (surviving to do 180 damage vs. dying in 1 shot from Wailord EX).

Also note that if a player expects a lot of Grass Weak Pokemon, Strength Charm can be added so that Muk ex can OHKO a Wailord ex. Common now? Probably not. If Wailord ex ever did become a huge threat, you can best ever Muk ex deck would start running it.

muk will destroy wailord ex, and after 100 damage, its useless unless waste precious turns by super deep diving and put fossils up...

If you mean on apprentice then sure. PM me. Or what's your screename so I can IM you? And you said you win on the 3rd turn which isnt possible since you need 4 energy to attack. And you said something about energy connect, so I guess its a Wailord/Wailord ex/Ampharos EXP deck. I admit that it's a better version of a wailord ex deck, but that isnt the deck thats posted here. The one here is wailord ex/fossils. Even though an amphy version of wailord ex would still lose to rayquaza.

No offense, but I cannot see that deck working in any way. Blaziken ninetales will own it, as will anything lightning. That is not gonna work.
 
i got bored and decided to read this thread, and i started laughing at around page 2 and stopped at page 9. now i remember why i quit pokemon (when the league's oldest player was 6 years old).

Hey don't diss Whiscash. Seriously though, he will be a Water pokemon you can build who can't get ko'd on the bench from Blaziken ex. I haven't tested it but I have had that thought for awhile. He also is 1 nrg plus a Boost to ko Blaze. Wailord might still end up better but Blaze ex will be able to target it on the bench.
Btw, a page ago someone said that Water decks can't beat BAR or B&R. Any deck that can ohko everything in BAR or B&R (quickly enough and rebuildable) can take on Blaze decks. Water decks that can get their Crystal Shards and attack quickly like Boost+Wailord and Kingdra ex will ohko Ray and Blaziken. These decks can ohko just as much if not more than blaze decks and are easy to build, you could just use a Boost on either. So Water decks with Shard can beat Blaziken. Now this Wailord ex deck cannot rebuild quickly so even if it ohkos along with Blaziken it will run out of gas.
 
No. Its just an idea. Whiscash can't get picked off on the bench by Blaze ex. I know the earlier post was just a joke but I felt like sharing that.

Nintendo change effect resolution again? Last time I checked, bonuses to damage were now applied before Weakness. This of course is not the same as it was under WotC. If this is wrong please IM me the text from the latest (well, at least from Dragon or Sandstorm) instruction booklet, or show me the ruling.
 
ya whiscash prevents damage when its benched but only benched, hmm gives an idea
but blaz ex is weak to psychic as well, so a glimse of hope for garde perhaps??????
