As far as the deck goes, NEWMAN has decided to give up on it and work on another failure....erm....deck. Wailord Ex/Fossils is Retired.... dun dun dun.......
 
whoa, this deck is retired? I expected to see this deck domintate States, Nationals and Worlds! Well at least it is one threat less, if he had played this, theere wouldnt even have been a reason to go to Worlds.

It says on Strenght Charm that the 10 damage should be applied after calculating Weakness & Resistance, can any new ruling from Nintendo make us overlook this?
 
Why do so many ppl reply to such a bad deck? No offense ;/ but this deck will not work. IF you want the hide thing try out Gengar EX.
 
That's Expedition Gengar. Its attack does 40 damage and switches Gengar with a benched Pokémon for PPC.

Which is why I am wrong. :eek: I failed to re-check Strentgh Charms text (the newest Darkness Energy for that matter as well). Since Strength Charm states that it is applied after Weakness/Resistance, unless an explicit ruling change occurs (yeah right :p ), then it does indeed fail to add the damage bonus needed. Of course, with the Dual-typed Team Aqua/Magma Pokemon, we might see some cards that can use Darkness and still hit the Weakness... anybody got a ruling on that yet?
 
Me and my big mouth I shouldntve said anything about the strength charm. I had hoped this topic would stay on the awfulness of this deck :(

OK, I have gone 200 posts without posting.

Newman claims to have retired this deck, but I do not believe him. I believe he is working on a cracked out version 4.0 of it, so I expect to see it an States.

Anyone who wants to play against this, show up at Missouri or Kentucky States and I will make time to play you with this deck.

well guys i run a wailord ex deck and it kills, i have been against 3 amphy exs deck and alot fo grass and electric deck adn i still win you just need to know your deck. You can still win if get a bad hand of course but with deck it is pretty hard not to lose i mean if you play it right then no problem go to my post on the deck help thing and that will show you guys what i have in my dck and i keep upgrading it to its best potenil but if you guys think you can crush like i have played people they say "oo a wailord ex deck should be easy" but when i play them and i win they dont say anythign except good game but people can think all they want about this deck but its ok.

no that is why you have 2-3 wailord ex and a amphy on your bench i going to try out amphy and kindra that way i can move it to my bench and active oo i would so own everyone becuase i would always have energys on my guys
 
dang I wish you had apprentice lookinforwailordex. Those electric/grass decks mustve been sad if you beat them. You keep saying you win against them but youre not telling why you beat them.
