The Question, Why does galactic win in europe so much

posible answers i have heard at league

1. Galactic is BDIF and is unstoppable in the corect thands

2. So many people play it that it has to win sometimes

3. them brits r cray (a british guy said this at the league i go to :lol:)

Can somebody help me figure out what it is, cause i cant figure it out.

i really hope its number 2 or 3 because number 1 would not be good for a lot of peoples

It can do 60+10 if a Stadium in play for basically one energy.
It has so many great support cards like the Galactic Inventions and Cyrus's Conspiracy.
Most Pokemon are basic so it's easy to get them out with Roseanne's and Great Ball.
It can snipe things with Crobat G and Honchkrow G.

Please feel free to add to the list if I left anything out.
 
It's fast, consistent, and hits for a decent about of damage, which is usually what good decks are made of.

they have broken attacks and abilities for basics
they have above average HP for a basic
the Inventions
it does 60 with 2 cards. Kingdra needs at least 3
super consistent, there is no way to stop them

That's probably true, but no G decks top cut in Masters or Seniors at London States :wink:

G wins cos it is super fast, has a ton of ridiculous support (playing Trainers on the opponent's turn? What is this? Yu Gi Oh???), and easy ways of getting that support out (no need to topdeck when you have Cyrus and Honchkrow to fetch everything).

Basically, you either play G, or have a very good strategy for dealing with it.

Kingdra needs 4 cards to do 60, (or 6 if you need to discard).

You need Horsea, Candy, Kingdra, Water, then 2 to discard.

Toxi needs 5 cards to do 60+10.

You need, Toxicroak. Skuntank, Stadium, Psychic, Energy Gain.

Seems like it is 4/5 not 3/2.

Galactic is good.
It's not GG good.

Difference beetween GG and Galactic:
GG was unstoppable

Galactic decks have different weaknesses depending on the build (not talking about pokemon weakness)
 
People were going to have to start teching for this kind of deck anyways. With AMU doing well during Battle Roads, and Regigigas doing well during Cities, with a third pure basic deck, people will be forced to acknowledge the success of basic decks and possibly even tech for them.

Well the only tech I can think of would be electivre X. Mewtwo X is nice until they pull out Diagla G X
 
SP's are making people make their decks as consistent as possible.
IMO the best way to stand up to the G's is to make your deck as consistent and you can and have ways to recover.
aka most decks would be doomed if you go for... uxie... couldn't.
Here's what you can do:
Use Cynthia's Feelings in your deck.
Use Professor Rowan in your deck.
Use actual draw cards.
Power spray reminds me of last season with people getting plox'd, and they didn't have any chance to draw since they never played any ACTUAL drawing cards.

I feel that Cynthia's will become a staple in decks since it lets your opponent use their power spray.. then you drop it for 8... [also just using it for 4 is not that bad either].

Its not that good. A turn 3 deck could beat it and needs 2 pokemon to do 60 damage. I think its number 2.

I disagree. I just played against Blastoise-catty not even 30 minutes ago and I stomped all over it. Blastoise-cat definitely qualifies as a Turn 3 deck.

Why are people talking about TOXICROAK? It's not the best attacker in G-decks.

Agreed. The true best attacker can deal just as much damage and still win the mirror because it too is a G Pokemon and is not effected by this poison nonsense.

Galactic is good.

Also agreed. Well, GG was stoppable, but it was incredibly hard to do so. Galactic has quite a few annoying snags, and it lacks the power that GG has. However, Galactic's makes up for it for having incredible amounts of consistency.

Electivire is an extraordinary tech for the format right now and people continue to blindly ignore it. Its a lot better than doofus lightning sheep.

Funny how people keep being that obsessed with Toxicroak G. There are much better attackers out at the moment.

Consistency is key to Pokémon [SP] decks. It is also the basic formula to withstand them. Mad tech does not help since good Pokémon [SP] decks are rather versatile. Insane evolution builds with a low basic count also suffer with the raise of big basic Pokémon decks. In a nutshell: You want a consistent and stable card flow not entirely reliant on particular means to draw cards or refresh ones hand to deal with the new dawn of hay maker decks.

How is teching in a stage 1 level x that can only be used if you run electric/rainbow/multi and can only be good to counter Toxicroak extraordinary? Daigla G is superior by a landslide imo.
