Hot like Fire - Theoretical PL-on format

Solid is what I'm going for. It wasn't made to be a special and uniquely beautiful flower, it was made to be a sexual tyrannosaurus who's only purpose is to hump other decks into submission. :thumb:

    Yo-Yo (Blastoise UL/Feraligatr, PL-on)

Attach your one energy for the turn, use Floatzel's power to attach a second to him, use Blastoise to move the energy from Floatzel to himself. 2 Energy a turn, though, Floatzel can be sprayed.

    A Poisonous Mind (Grass/Psychic)

It sounds like what you really need is an overview of how to make good decks in general, and for that there are a ton of fantastic articles on the Gym. Read these: I'm NEW. What should I get? The Nature of Deckbuilding I The Nature of Deckbuilding II The Nature of Deckbuilding III The...

People that are good at English come here!

'That' would be correct if you directly quoted the woman: She said "you really should stop that". In your example, it's correct to say 'this'. Also, the 'a' in acid is pronounced the same as the 'a' in apple... as-id is close, but it needs another 's'.

What are the best cards of unleashed in your opinion ?

Ohhhh... I guess it didn't make it over from Revived Legends. Sad.

What are the best cards of unleashed in your opinion ?

Is it Vileplume that shuts off all trainers from the bench? If so, that's my vote.

    A Poisonous Mind (Grass/Psychic)

I didn't say you did say the deck was bad, I said that if you thought it was bad, then that's a legitimate reason not to play it. You don't want to play the deck because it wasn't "your creation", fine, but that's what a competent deck should look like: at least 4 of the pokemon you plan on...

    A Poisonous Mind (Grass/Psychic)

Sorry the players in your area are such dicks... I had no idea. If a new player walked into my league with a list of common/uncommon/promo wants for a deck, he'd probably get (almost) everything he needed for very little or no money/trade. It sucks that the players in your area are such...

    Post Rotation Theory-mon

So, the current consensus seems to be that the top tier decks after roatation should be: Charizard/Ninetails fire SP engine Arceus ...and that with the limited on-the-board card drawing, hand disruption will become much more powerful. That sound about right?

    A Poisonous Mind (Grass/Psychic)

Okay, well, good luck. ...and just so you know, there's not a rare in that deck (that isn't a promo), if you play with a group, you could probably get that deck together for little to no money. +edit+ Also, just for my own edification, what exactly is the difference between copying a...

    A Poisonous Mind (Grass/Psychic)

This. I get that you're new and haven't played in a while, I also get that you're trying to make a deck with only the cards you have, but evolution lines like 1 Gastly, 2 Haunter should never happen. You can make a decent deck with only/mostly commons, uncommons, and league promos, but it's...

    Post Rotation Theory-mon

Great point about the engine, I can see how SP decks wouldn't be hurt as much by the loss of Claydol (some don't play it now) and Uxie. I don't know about the grass, though... Jumpluff (I assume this is what you mean by "grass" since it's the only grass deck played) needs efficient card...

    Post Rotation Theory-mon

Okay, so I know we've got BRs, Nats, and Worlds before rotation, but I pretty well know what I'm going to play for the forseeable future and, assuming others are interested, I'd like to compile some opinions on what the post-rotation metagame is going to look like. Here are a list of...

Congrats on top 8. I ran PLOX myself, but, sadly, did not do nearly as well (4 rounds of CurseGar... ewww).

Why do Pokémon players shun creativity?

I disagree because, I gotta tell ya, I see people lose with bad decks all the time... and it's not really an accomplishment. I'm pretty sure most people will agree it's better to be the guy who wins Worlds with a great deck than the guy who finishes last at Roads with a crap "rogue" deck.

Why do Pokémon players shun creativity?

I enjoy being creative, and don't think deck builders should be ripped a new one for using sub-par cards in their fun decks. On the other hand, some cards are just the absolute best they are at what they do; I can't imagine a deck that I wouldn't play Claydol or, at least, Uxie in for card...
