Wish I could help you, but my priest claim in XVII was almost entirely on the spot. I'd just left a couple of convenient crumbs behind in case I needed them and managed to make them fit the game. So... lucky? I dunno.

The reason I use HP Ground with Glaceon has a bit to do with the specific Pokemon that Blizzard struggles with - Heatran is basically immune to it, and while Metagross can't KO with a bullet punch, it will survive blizzard and KO with Meteor Mash. Metagross isn't weak to Fighting; Heatran isn't...

I think it might be underpowered as an ace spec, but overpowered as a supporter. A deck could easily force the opponent to take 10 prizes. Really cool idea though.
