I got two of them, but haven't picked them up from the Mart yet. What is a good nature for Manaphy? Is it even worth training it? Thanks!
 
I got two and haven't collected them yet either. Was wondering the samething. What is a good nature for him? I have the one from Ranger, but don't recall what nature, etc i have on him.

IN PBR do the following (this is directly from the guide)

Go to profiles
Click on profiles
Go to self introduction
Enter this code exactly as shown

When you get back to profiles section click "OK"

This will give you a "Mystery Gift" of Electrivire for Diamond/Pearl

yes you can trade it-it just cannot be put into the GTS.
(the classic ribbon it has is what restricts the GTS acess)

when i said for pablo to pm me, i just wanted his friend code so it would then be tradeable to him.

Unless you have more than one somehow. Why would you want to trade a "one of a kind" Pokemon anyways?

BTW if you did the download thing, can you still get the Manaphy Egg from Pokemon Ranger?

i have diamond and pearl. therefor i have 2 TRU manaphy :p

and yes you can. they are diffrent download data. the TRU one was mystry gift and the Ranger is a outside solisitation.

if you look at your DS when at the screen with your game/new game/mystry gift/migrate etc- the light blinks becouse it is sending out a wireless signal.

that is how the sloications work. so far there are two:
Manaphy from Pokemon ranger
and Mystry Gift unlock, if not previously unlocked.-this is done at mystry gift events and on PBR.

Manaphy is just like Mew and Celebi, in that it has a base stat of 100 across the board. Generally, if you want it to be an attacker, Modest (SpA +, Atk -) or Timid (Spd +, Atk -) is advisable since Manaphy can learn really good special moves, and can have the stats to back them up.

You can also go the way of a wall. Manaphy learns Aqua Ring, and has the ability Hydration which heals status conditions in Rain. These combined with Leftovers, and decent stats in the Defenses and HP can equal an outstanding wall. If you want to go this route, you might want a Calm Manaphy (SpD +, Atk -), or a Bold Manaphy (Def +, Atk -).

Manaphy can actually be really good. It just depends on how you want to use it. Also, as I spent a lot of time doing it, if you want to get good IVs for Manaphy, the following applies:

If Manaphy has a 31 (MAX IV) in HP, its HP will be 175 at Lv. 50. If you have HP anywhere from 168-175, it has a pretty decent HP stat.

If you have a Manaphy @Lv.50 with a neutral nature, or look at a stat that isn't affected by its nature, the max it could be is 120. Anything from 110-120 means that it has a decent IV in that stat.

If you look at one of Manaphy's stats that IS affected by the nature, POSITIVELY, then it can have a max stat of 132 in it, if it has a 31IV in it. So, if you have a Modest Manaphy, and it has a SpAtk of 132, then you can be pretty sure that it has either a 30 or 31 IV in that stat.

My only problem with this event was that they didn't support the japenese version of the game and didn't say anything about it. I wouldn't really have cared had they said so on their wabsite beforehand. All it said was to bring a copy of pokemon pearl or diamond, but it never said english. I assumed that meant any copy. Apperently not. Other than that, this was much better than the mew event because of the download thing.

I don't have time to mess with it's nature tonight. But thank you for giving me info on what a good nature would be for him. I had to drive 200 miles to get my Manaphys only cause we don't have a TRU near us. Also had to get my car serviced as well before the warranty expired. While i was there i visited with my Dad and went to Dennys for Breakfast. I got so lucky, i found an Ipod in the parking lot. Which had been there a while as it had been run over a few times. But the thing is, IT STILL WORKS!!!. Just a little tool work on it, and it works just fine. It's beat up a bit, but nothing that prevents play. So now i need to get an Ipod dock for it so i can recharge it and transfer music onto it. What a great weekend it was. Two Manaphys, got the car fixed for free. And tonight i bought two packs of MT, Found a Lucario LV X.

I never noticed that code for PBR in the Pokemon Fan, I'll try that soon. I liked this wireless idea much more for this event, I remember waiting in line for a Celebi for a few hours, but even more memorable was waiting in line to get some of the top 20 download. Eww. Those were nasty lines. This time I just hopped into the store, turned DS on and BOOM! Done. :)

BTW, I didn't even have to have Mystery Gift Unlocked on my second game, when I popped that game in, it automatically created the Mystery Gift menu.
