Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON City Championships (and one in WA)

Ha! I had a loosing record 2-3 (no points for the bye) and I moved up 4 rating points! I moved from 1171 in North America up to 1169th! I am one of the most dangerous player in the NW. A loss to me and you drop lots of points!

And how was it with an 0-2 start ranked 43rd out of 43 after 2 rounds, I ended up at table 5 in round 6?

GJ #5 Mr. Spinach. Will you put some points on the line in Longview/Kelso?

Honestly, all the bragging is really sickening when the honors arn't deserved.

What is deserving of honors in your eyes? Is winning 3 Cities with a 40-9 record, and being ranked #2 IN THE WORLD not good enough for you?

Just what do you consider good?

The best setup would be the much smaller Nintendo Wii combined with your everyday standard portable DVD player, it'd take up the room of maybe 3 text books stacked on each other. I'd suggest that setup, personally. Small space? No problem, considering the entire setup could fit into a backpack.

I don't think that's as much of a problem as a cramped playing area.

Regardles of how small the game system is, we're still having 2-4 people on it.

Jason Kalzynski. Took 6 CC's this year taking out some of the most respected and feared players in the game. Matt Moss, Alex Brosseau, and Jimmy Ballard. The reason why they aren't ranked as high this year is simply because Ness is beating each and every one of them.

Big fish, little pond.

Seems i'm not the only one unimpressed. I've really only gotten to play at two cities, so personally I can't say i've had a decent shake at things thus far. Other, more important matters need attending to, you know. What do I consider good? Well, a good start would be a player that has some respect in them, unlike a few players I know. The aforementioned "Jason Kalzynski" is apperantly both feared and respected, though obviously i've never heard of such nobody, however, a reputation is at least admirable. At least, a good reputation, words like "Feared" and "Respected" are much better than "Annoying" and "Lucky" which i'm afraid apply to some players I can think of, as well.

So yes, respectable, truly talented players, i'd consider them good. It also helps to have your own personal militia, but, not everyone can be as blessed as me.

If you've never heard of Ness, who have you heard of? He's been playing since day one and has since been one of the biggest voices in the pokemon community. He's won more championships than any other player in this game, even in fun formats like the stupid tropical mega battle in hawaii. As of now, he's the 2007 world champion.

I could say you're just ignorant, but maybe arrogant is more accurate. It's apparent to me you don't read up on anything involving competitive play in this game. So why are you making comments about something you know nothing about?

Apperantly he isn't good enough, or else i'd have heard of him by now, makes sense to me.

Dude, Pokeymanz isn't going to have the same publicity as the NFL or NBA.

Everyone: Also, there's no Melee tourney at the Corvallis CC. You have been warned. Hilariously so.

*strokes neckbeard*

I doubt anyone who hasn't read this thread has heard of you. Ergo, you aren't any good.

Au contraire, my image is very well known throughout the state. Not just my image, I should of course remember to mention the rest of my peers, as well. Anyone who's anyone remembers very clearly my appearance at the Journey Across America in 2006. It's hard not to remember me, when there's an entire mall chanting the name of my now notorious entourage. Yes, I must admit, I enjoy the glory.

I'll excuse your obviously misinformed state, i'm sure it happens to everyone.

Yeah, you're well-known all right. I can't forget about JAA. I'm the one who actually went to NYC for the finals. Clint and I wished you could've joined us in the tournament, but then again, I would've ended up losing to you.

Even then, they refer to you as "Guy in Rocket Shirt."

.....

I can't decide whether to act serious or goofy this time. XD

This is seriously the most retarded thing I have ever heard.

You're saying you're more recognisable (and thus, better) than Ness simply because you got 2nd place at a random mall tournament?

Ness is the freaking WORLD CHAMPION.

Get over yourself you hack noob.
