Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON City Championships (and one in WA)

Intentional? Nice try. Don't blame me if you guys open yourselves up to freak out over every little thing I say. this thread still has me laughing.

How does me saying "LBS Deck" mean anything? Watch my back for what? You're threatening violence over a POKEMON forum? You kids really are a bit too obsessed. It's just a game. You're gonna let what somebody says online drive you up the wall? I've been shrugging you guys off the moment you said something stupid, which was ages ago by now. It apperantly doesn't matter how good I am at this game, considering how well you'll let me get into your heads, i've already won whatever battle was supposedly being waged.

I'm stuck laughing you guys off, still, because pokemon ISN'T serious buisness.

You just took Ross seriously, you're never supposed to take him seriously. Once again, your complete ignorance toward anything involving this game only shows who's really laughing here.

Well, I wouldn't say hundreds of player collaborating over metagross dx/steelix ex. It was just this, heavily condensed for time:
Chad: Hey, Matt, I was thinking of steelix ex breaking the format.
Matt: Steelix? You mean that old meganium/steelix deck?
Chad: Yah, Steelix. You kill metanite, banette, mewtric, maybe delta. What do you lose to?
Matt: Well, I guess you outrun all the salamence decks.
Chad: Yah
Matt: I'll think about it. Wait, there's a lot of nutcases out there teching sceptile, let's do metagross instead, then you can tank it.
*Matt makes metagross/steelix deck in about 5 minutes (my list is kept secret under trust guys, sorry)*
Chad: Looks great.
For the next two weeks chad tests the deck with kettler, when the next round of cc's hit. Chad makes 2nd in his California CC. Kettler outright wins his and everyone in Texas is looking for his list. I only go 2/2 on really bad prizes for both losses and give the deck to Paul to use for Oregon. What's your story spinach?

So, wait, i'm trying to keep up with the shifting fads here, NOW you're trying to insult me because I took someone seriously, somebody I know nothing about, and, somehow, me not knowing this person or whether or not to take them seriously, equals personal gaming skill?

So, you're saying, in short, that, the more people I know and know not to take seriously, the better i'll be at the pokemon TCG? Well, based on this information, I already know not to take you seriously, considering your terrible advice on pokemon just now.

Oh, and i've seen that deck already.

PDNFTT

Jedi - I saw the deck in Patriarchs report, ran a list past him, and since then, I've been working on perfecting my list with my brother.

Visitor, what I am saying is you're so out of the loop when it comes to the other players in this thread that it's obvious you have no idea what you're talking about. The little transcript between me and chad was a little anecdote reserved for Flaming Spinach, and anyone else who's interested, to look at. You can take that however you like.

BTW, spinach, a quick tip, where I would focus on metalix is getting past the sallygross matchup. It's probably the most difficult matchup concerning popular decks simply because you don't have any real outs for it. Yah, you can run latios*, but that's only one answer to where they have several.

I thought it was a... oh wait... you mean the deck that ross calls storm? Yah, I remember that one. It was the piece of crap that couldn't take worlds because everyone who had half a brain figured out how to beat it.

Yes its fantastic pizza

Hello,
some notes for those coming to the Corvallis CC:

we're meeting at Woodstocks Pizza--good pizza too. See you Saturday!

Pokemon No Baka and I arrivied in Corvallis at 6:00 pm tonite. We ate at Woodstocks, which is only a mile from our Best Western Hotel. I will say that it is the very best pizza that I have ever had in Oregon. I am not sure the room will be big enough for tomorrows turnout if we get more then 50. So if you plan on playing you better show up early.

Spinach, I hope we finally get the chance to play tomorrow. I am looking at your score and will love the chance to gain 20+ points from ya. Oh also Oregon players... If we can come all the way from Everett to play you here, I hope that many of you can go North on Sunday. I hope to see many of you in Kelso on Sunday as it is only 2 hours away from Corvallis.

We counted the chairs and there are 70. I think we can spill out front a bit. When we booked the place CCs were drawing 40-50 players. We'll make do!

But they can't drive, the car hasn't been invented in oregon yet!!!!

Okay, I'm done with the really bad oregon jokes, y'all have fun tomorrow.

Just got back...

I made Top8.

Boom was the matchup I wanted to avoid on the day, and I ended up playing them in rounds 2, 3, 4, and 6.

The pairings hate me. -_-

The Finals should be going on right now.

The top8 looked like this:

Boom
Boom
Boom
