Turn 2 Kricketune'd

This deck sounds fun, but, if you start with 2 kriket prized, gg. Even if you have 1 on the prizes is a baddd start.

still 50+ is plenty of damage on T2 cuz after all most of the basics do have 50 HP or under. But some basics like riolu and machop have 60 HP. I mean you have strength charm and plus powers to take care of bad starts when you dont have alot of kriketots or krikectunes

i still say Quiketune for the name. this deck sounds and looks deadly. I may have to watch out for it cause most people may use it do to the fact it's easy to build since it doesn't use too many rare cards and rar holo or ex's.

Here's my version.

Quicketune

9 Pokemon:
4 Kricketot
4 Kricketune
1 Mew* d

37 Trainer:
4 Rare Candy
4 Night Maintenance
4 Quick Ball
4 Holon Mentor
4 Celio's Network
4 CC
4 Buffer Peice
3 Battle Frontier
3 Energy Removal 2
3 Island Hermit

14 Energy:
10 Grass
4 Double Rainbow

that list SUCKS dude... no offence, but it REALLY does.

A) Mew*=N O

B) RC, 1 or so for the OHKO chance is interesting but NOT 4!!

C) 4 Buffer Piece, NO!! 1-2 MAX

D) 4 potion, again NO. anything that this deck would have problems with can OHKO the tunes most of the time anyways. -all 4.

E) Mentor NOOOOOOOO. 4 Great ball, plain and simple.

F) Island Hermit, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. TVR/Stevens combo works fine!!

G) NO CASTAWAY OR CC?!?!?!?!?!?!?

H) NO TG's BET?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!??!?!

4 Kricketot
4 Kricketune

4 Night Maintenance
4 Quick Ball
4 Great Ball
4 Celio's Network
3 CC
2 Buffer Peice
2 Plus Power
1 Strength Charm
3 Energy Removal 2
3 TVR
4 Castaway
4 Team Galactic's Bet

10 Grass Energy
4 DRE

THAT is a good list for the deck.

i couldn't care less, really. i'm not really going to use the list i made. just trying to help out. if it sux then Regis Neo can ignore it

@ Chromecatz: ya, he could have, but not all decks are good

@ Suicidal Pika.: A really good list for the deck is the one Regis Neo posted. don't be so full of yourself

but pikachu shoulda been less of an a ss when he was typed that

ok ***?! i get modded for calling somebody bulled headed, but you can cuss and get away with it?

there's being arrogant, and then there's common sense, which apparently most of you people lack.

^ i didnt get censored because he put space between the word...
but
some1 explain to me how this can be lethal late game not just during the first part

Now now, don't go bashing each other's lists. Everyone is entitled to their opinions on the deck (and I still find TG's Bet iffy somewhat personally, but I see the logic in it).

This deck maintains a threat throughout the game by the use of Night Maintenance and Great Ball/Fast Ball/Mentor. Once a Kricketune or 2 goes down, use Night Maintenance to shuffle them (Tot and Tune) back into the deck, and redraw them the same turn preferably using Great/Fast Ball and Mentor to maintain a bench full of Kricketot/Kricketune and still maximizing damage at 80. Also late game, you can bring out the Plus Powers and Strength Charms too should you be saving them.

well i say the deck can't beat infernape, which losses nothing this rotation...so...if you make it past turn 1 you stilll have to make it to turn 2

this deck won't win unless it gets cheap t1 or t2 wins. the little damage it deals isn't enough to stand up to anything. even if you run 4 pluspower 4 stragh, change all their types to dark somehow and have darkrai lv x on the field with dark energy on them (which would somehow pay for their attack cost) it would still be terrible.

Consider when you'll be doing the 70-80 damage: Turn 1 or 2. During those times, unless your opponent is evolving everything madly via Candy, they are not going to be able to take those hits at ANY point in the game. That 70-80 damage will OHKO most Basics and Stage 1 Pokemon. For Stage 2s, you have the PlusPower and Strength Charm to deal with them, and even then 70-80 damage is usually a 2HKO on most Stage 2s even then. I mean, think back to Lunasol; it did even less maximum damage than this deck can potentially do, and yet it still had a top placing in Worlds in addition to various other wins.

lunasol had the disruption factor and shut off popular searching pokemon. this does damage and gets ohko'd by everything.

This deck just doesn't have what it takes to really survive the format. Granted, it's got swarm ability, but that's about all its got. Yet, all a deck has to do is outlast the beat down, and it would be able to beat this deck without a problem.
Even though Gatr will make an appearance, Ape WILL still be around as well. This deck can't take Ape, because for one, weakness. Two, Ape is just as fast as this, and can take it down a few pegs.

4- Great Balls
4+ Master Balls

I playtested this exact list on the front page and there are WAY to many ways to get basics. We need to search more evolution cards to get the swarm going after the first kriketune is KOed. I mean you have 4 great balls,3 mentors, 4 kriketots to get you basics right there. Even 4 master balls seems like a risky play you can also get a basic or evolution card in the process. I think a little adjustment might make the deck perfect. Infernape does give this deck trouble since it cant take those darn 90 damage for 2 fires, even with the buffer piece kricketune is still dead.
