I don't see those cards being banned outside Japan since there were so many more of them printed in English (all of the top cut ones and the staff ones). Yes, those cards are still hard to find and expensive, but they're far easier to get in English than Japanese.

This might be old news. But we now know what Mega Pokemon are still EXs. http://www.pokemon-card.com/products/xy/xy1.html It says there that they'll be called "M Blastoise EX" and "M Venusaur EX".

I saw one like that sell on ebay for $21 after shipping. But that was about a month after it came out and the normal one was going for about $5 at the time. I hope that helps.

I buy my boxes, tins, 3-pack blisters ect directly from a distributor and I've asked him in the past about a few of these 3-packs and he's told me that some of them just don't show up on the list of items he can order. So it's definately not a problem with stores not wanting to order them.

I don't know if it helps, but one of my local Targets (but it was closer to Los Angeles) had Plasma Freeze packs and decks yesterday. And a few of my local card/comic shops here are getting them in today.

I was at my local Toys R Us two days ago and they had these. Too bad they were $25 each there. I tried to buy a couple of them but they rang up as "Do not sell until 4/22" so they wouldn't let me buy them.

I've personally watched one of my friends open a Boundaries Crossed box and only pull 1 Ace Spec and one non-FA EX and that was it. And another of my friends opened a box of Plasma Storm and pulled all 3 Ace Specs and 2 non-FA EXs and that was it. Though my box of Boundaries Crossed had 2 EXs...
