POP already discriminates against masters, what's more discrimination going to do?
Lol? We are discriminated against?

I personally love the idea of a judges seminar and would gladly attend and what better place to hold it than nationals or worlds (where the best of the best gather) I know I have much to learn from the other premier judges in this game and I may have a little insight for them:biggrin:

There was no age bias at that particular worlds event. All the juniors got in because there were lots of open seats.
'Bias' suggests to me that groups that should be treated equally aren't. So who is the target market for sales? There is no bias when you are favouring your consumers over a different demographic that does not buy your product. If you want examples of bias you should perhaps consider how the 15+ is favoured by being supported by all the sales from the 10-.
Why am I arguing this way? Because perspective and assumption is key to if you see any age group being treated fairly or not. Not just age groups, but location, parental income, language, GDP etc.. Someones grass is always greener.
I really enjoy taking my kids to league & they nearly always have great fun. I get to talk to parents and the store folks and generally enjoy myself as well. However my league is a terrible place to test decks. It's fairly rare that I see other adults or even teenage masters players there who play in the competitive events. Pretty much any time I take an even halfway competitive deck I end up crushing anyone I play. I've usually end up take a barely tweaked theme decks to league just so the new folks & casual will not feel so overwhelmed. Love the theory behind leagues, and I'm also sure that some places probably do have leagues that would work like you describe, but it's simply not like that everywhere.
Heh! I wondered if you would see that post. lol! You and your daughter are great and I'm always happy to see you guys there!
POP 5 was amazing. Boost, DRE, Mew δ, Rare Candy, etc. But POP 6 & 7 have been beyond bad. So yeah, not much incentive there recently. That's one thing that could be changed. Make the POP cards meaningful.
