Guru Point Challenge #3 - Making TYPHLOSHION Prime work!

Haha, keep at it R_A =D. Just one final push xD. Anw, with regards to your question about lookers' in my decklist, i just love lookers over any other hand refreshers. A T1 lookers against a gdos who started sableye and impersonated a collector is XD. Lookers, when u use to shuffle your own...

    Unown Q and Gengar prime

Hey, i'm posting with regards to this question and answer on the pokegym forum http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=142423 According to gengar prime pokebody, all cards attached to the pokemon thats knocked out is discarded. Hence, shouldnt the unown q be discarded instead of sent to...

Guru Point Challenge #3 - Making TYPHLOSHION Prime work!

Eh, are we allowed to comment on the decks before us? Anw, heres a few things i would recommend to the decklists above mine. @gallade: I think your deck definitely needs an azelf lv x to get rid of weakness. One of the most crippling things abt the newer legends is the dual weakness. As RDL...

JUST GOT REAL. A Mime Jr. Speculation / Realization of Potential Thread.

Gengar sf says hi and thanks for the free prize =D. Otherwise, it makes a possible tech but too flippy imo.

"The Inside Scoop" Deck Discussion - GYRARADOS SF -- Why is it SO Good??

I strongly disagree with this. In the luxchomp matchup, you should NEVER belt yourself loosely. You should only belt it when you have your opponent under power lock first. If you belt simply for the ko, they can easily return the ko via 3 bat drop+flash impact, or 1 bat drop+trash bolt. Then...

    Donphan Prime Support?

Eh... Even if you have 2 manectric out, they still get dmg-ed. Read his poke-body carefully, it says prevent all dmg done to your benched pokemon EXCLUDING any manectric. So no matter how many you have out, they dun shield each other. However, bench shield with manectric is a great idea. If...

"The Inside Scoop" Deck Discussion - GYRARADOS SF -- Why is it SO Good??

Gyarados decks revolve around getting your 3 other magikarps into the discard pile and attacking using tail revenge for 90 with no energy. A gyarados deck can easily be broken down into two parts, set up and recovery. Firstly to set up your gyarados with 3 magikarps in the discard pile...

Guru Point Challenge 2 - Making a Magnezone Deck work!

Ok, i also play a magnezone deck, but it works extremely differently from most of the other decks here. Instead of playing spiritomb starts, locking your opponent's trainers while slowly evolving your own, i run a aggressive smeargle start and try to get my zones out t1 or 2 Pokemon: 4-3-2/2...

Name that card: Smashing Gyarados with Machamp

I strongly disagree with this. In order for gdos to score a 2hko against machamp, you'll need to be belted, and a crobat drop IF my champ was belted. On the other hand, i can easily score a 2hko against your gdos, whether im belted or not. Also, champ has the ability to tag out whenever he wants...

Help with a Gallade 4 deck?

I think that the spiritomb la is superior to zapdos in this aspect since your opponent's pokemon would most likely be dmged by gallade blade storm alrdy. Onto the topic, I tried a gallade/gengar deck before and it seemed alright. The idea is to dmg your opponent's bench with gallade, poke turn...

The Almighty Turtwig GL! Gyarados Counter?

Hey, I love this deck idea because i think that its really creative and playable. A few cards i would recommend throwing in are a few cherrims line (split between the ar one to protect u and sf one to boost your dmg), and also black belt. Black belt is amazing, esp since you are healing your...

"The Inside Scoop" Deck Discussion #1 = "LuxChomp" - Why is it SO good?

9: Lucario gl is ur best fren in this matchup, making gdos 2x weak to luxray. The key to the gdos matchup imo is keeping track of your resources, knowing how many energy you have left to trash bolt with, how many poke turns you have left to flash bite for the last ko. Another thing i would...

STRATEGY TOPIC SPOTLIGHT #1 = CONSISTENCY - what is it?

I totally agree with what baby_mario said. IMO, deck building is like a juggling act. You have to balance consistency and ur tech lines. it is a fine balance between under-teching and taking too many auto-loss and over-teching so much that you hurt ur consistency and loss an auto-win matchup...

Poke Blower + vs. pokemon reversal in gyarados

@Jaymin: How does junk arm make reversal superior in gdos? It just gives u a second flip chance. Personally, i think its up to you, but if u run a high junk arm count, poke-blowers shld be the way to go. Reversals are flippy and no-one likes flippy stuff. Moreover, they result in the same...

    Just Theorymon? A Proposal: Lostgar

I believe that the idea of mew is to ensure that u can start hurling by t2. While your mew is out there, you build up a gengar prime on ur bench, to continue hurling. IMO, a mewgar deck would work something like this: T1 mew sees off gengar prime, collectors for gastly to bench and some other...

    Arceus

Drop the 4 dce for 4 call energy. You'll need the call to ensure a quick set up and dce is relatively useless in this deck as u have your energy acceleration in the form of ripple swell alrdy. Drop the 4 ssu and 1 bebe's for 3 comms and 1 more seeker. Also, throw in one premier ball, great for...

    Ultimate Meta Game Deck?

Ok.... I sorta rmb i posted a similar list to this before, but after some testing, i realised quite a few problems with this list. Firstly, whenever you use ditto to attack, you will be behind on the prize trade. E.g. against decks like jumpluff, he draws the first ko, u return the ko, he draws...

    Heatran Lv X!

Mew prime will be protected. Whenever u copy a pokemon's attack, u replace all self-references with "this pokemon". So in this case, moonlight fang will protect "this pokemon"(aka mew) from attacks of pokemon with poke-bodies and poke-powers.

    What's the best Scizor Cherrim?

I say straight scizor/cherrim with crobats/pluspowers/poke-blowers. Ensures ur scizor is immune every turn by drawing all the ko's via accelerate. Only bad matchup imo is luxchomp cause they will just snipe around ur scizor, but if u set up fast enough, u will be able to draw the return ko easily.
