    Trainer's Choice: Genesect!

My Genesect caught the Pokerus tonight. He is tearing it up!

    2012-11-12 BCR Skyla 134/149

This card makes playing a 1-of trainer or stadium viable. WAY better in actual play than it appears on paper. Skyla will be a staple in this format, IMHO. 10/10

Most expensive metagame cards at the moment?

Seems like there's a handful of trainers and supporters that are really popular right now. The others you can't give away. Fisherman is one of those highly sought after supporters.

Most expensive metagame cards at the moment?

What about Trainers/Supporters? I'm selling my collection and am not sure what playable ones are hot at the moment.

HGSS-On Feraligatr and Suicune & Entei Legend: Repeated Sniping for 100

Have you tested this? 2 stage 2s, a stage 1 and a Legend with no draw power or even Pokemon Communication seems like a very slow deck.

    Electric Barrier (Raichu/Manectric) States

Yes because he updated it AFTER Broncosboy's post. But good job on the math. Stay in school, kids.

    Regigigas for States

^ Sorry, but have to strongly disgaree. Junk Arm is crucial in Gigas. It clears out your hand (discard basic energy for later use) and can retrieve a Pokeheler, VS Seeker, Premier Ball (Junk Arm does make Premier Ball a little more playable, especially when running Uxie X), Warp Point, etc. I...

    Pokémon TCG online in April!

Hmmmm... a free way for new players to learn the game? I don't see the downside. Hopefully it will be a good tool for new players to grasp mechanics and gameplay.

    Much Better Vilegar Destroier Deck

I would stick with a normal T-Tar deck. Your Pokemon lines are WAY too heavy and T/S/S are way too light. Consistency should be your #1 objective. 4 interviewers questions and no BTS? This deck needs a complete overhaul, my friend.

    Luxray GL X & Catcher

 What trainer is that? I KNOW you're not talking about Reversal, because that depends on a coin flip.

    Gyarados Strategy

Most players I see don't rely on Junk Arm. They use Regice. It's searchable and you can scoop it or use Seeker to use the power again.

2nd Place MA Oregon West Linn CC

Hey Jason, this is Nick. I was your Regigigas opponent. Yeah, my start sucked, but you're always a tough player. Good luck in your other cities!

    Machamp for Cities

Yeah, this is a pretty solid list that would go 3-3 at our cities. Too much trainer lock and VileGar is rampant. Getting stuck with a handful of useless trainers is not fun. Sure, against an opponent playing a bad SP build or some rogue Stage 2 deck, this works great, but my Meta is filled with...

    Machamp for Cities

Normally I would completely agree with you, but I'm not going to be attacking with Luxray much. However, Gyarados is going to see some serious play in my area and the matchup is very unfavorable without Luxray. If I see my opponent is playing Gyarados, my focus will totally change and I don't...

    building gigas

If you're sacrificing more than twice a game, it's too much. It might help to post a list, but SSU's help a ton. If you're playing Junk Arm, which you should be, then you can get SSU's out of discard. I tried Staraptor X, it didn't work for me, but that's just me. Regice is necessary to...

    Regigigas DO40 promo

Need 2 of these for cities. Thanks!

Why is Junk Arm getting so much hype for gyarados?

I don't think this is as true as it may seem. Collector gets you up to 3 karps if you want them, Regice can discard, you can use junk arm to thin your hand for Uxie, etc. There are several other ways to get karps. It isn't as difficult as it sounds.

    2010-11-15 TM Junk Arm 087

Love this in my Regigigas deck. 2 luxury balls in one turn? Yes, please. Need that crucial late game scoop up? This gives you a chance. I've found more and more uses for it as I play it. Also, I believe it was ruled you can retrieve a trainer that you discarded with Junk Arm (although you can't...

    Dialga/Garchomp

It comes down to personal preference but I like the t1 deafen rather than waiting until t2. Plus I hate giving my opponent 2 prizes.:p
