I am so happy that you are adding fossil haunter and uncommon is reasonable. Which gastly is in this set? I don't like base gastly. Fossil and Neo gastly is much better.

Would the uncommon content per pack raise with LC? We've always been getting 3 per pack but I think since this is a draft friendly set, it should be raised to 4 =\

i still play Unlimited and i have about 20 ***FOIL*** Haunters that i bought because i never pulled Foil Haunter... and i wanted the "Pretty Deck" so for unlimited and regular constructed play no the rarities could all be rare for all i care... i'm still gonna get the cards i want if i have to buy them, or i pull them or i trade for them...
drafting however yes it is making it a little annoying, but if it were a rare then i would have to draft a gastly about 3 (Common or Uncommon), Haunter (Going with rare) 2 and 1 gengar (rare) and maybe 2 breeders now that means i have to get 4 RARE cards... aint gonna happen when there is counter drafting. so yea the change is helping for draft..

No not at all, what it does is what the set is designed to do... makes it easier for draft... If you really want a card for a deck you will go after it no matter what the rarity..

I don't consider Haunter "friendly" in any situation. ![[Wink]](../tcg/wink.gif) It would be funny if they brought back Base Gastly instead of Fossil, to make up for the sheer power of annoyance posessed by Haunter in Draft. People might think twice about drafting Hauter/Gengar if they have to wait a couple turns with a Base Gastly on the bench. ![[Devilish]](../tcg/graemlins/diablo.gif) It probably won't happen, though.=/
BTW, is there any chance of LC being used for Origins?

1 Use free retreater capable of doing 30+ damage (Fossil Golbat)
2 Do 30+ damage to Ditto
3 Retreat for Baby
4 Draw a Prize

Heck yeah! Like 3 times more likely to draft.
The real question is mostly how much people perceive the value of their collections going down. My take on this is that the symbols are different so the value should not change. Look at the positive people - you now have an opportunity to add a reverse holo Haunter to your collection. I'm awed at the potential of this set to rock things quite a bit. I been busy drafting decks for a week now just on the scraps we've been given.
BTW folks - I hope y'all realize that DMTM releasing this info to the dedicated Pokemon community early is a major first. I am just pleased purple at the super efforts of the WotC staff to be more reponsive to us. Thanks guys!

I was not really looking at the draft aspect of the cards yesterday when I and Gengar blew our tops it was just the fact that it was happening. I am tickled to death once I looked at the drafting aspect of the set and the "demotion" of Haunter to an uncommon. Anyway as they said in Cool Runnings....."Peace be the journey!!!"
